Yet you spend so much time and energy on something so trivial. Life not exciting enough for you? In all likelihood there will be no difference between a 16th or 17th pick. At that point of the draft teams will pick who they had been eyeing on regardless, rather than based on "talent" (or lack there of). In practical terms, it won't matter who picks first ie. Boston or Houston (NY's pick) since they'll still probably get who they want at that stage of the draft. But you spend a ton of energy on something that really Daryl Morey is probably not even sweating about. The Rockets, like Morey, have much more important things to worry about right now than a couple draft spots difference in the middle of the first round.
The Knicks were a better team without Melo, they had better defense, better ball movement and better team play. Maybe it is time for them to trade him. DD
You need a closer to win games, didn't you see what melo did to put them up 3 before paul pierce hit the game tying shot? When it comes down to the final minute, we have no one we can really go to to close out the game. Oh wait, we got Kevin Martin The knicks are going to be fine... which really really sucks!
The difference in the 15th and 16th pick can be very big difference. Last year Kawhi Leanord slipped to 15. The big problem I see is, Boston ultimately has the same needs as we do. They need bigs. If Meyers Leanord were to fall to 15, which is a distinct possibility, he could either fall to Boston or Houston. Both teams would be very lucky to have him. I would rather Houston take a big of the board instead of Boston taking him first. Fair enough? I really don't understand why I have to continue to explain something this simple. I want what is best for the Rockets. Period. It's funny to me that so many have resorted to personal insults for merely stating that I'm glad the Knicks lost. I mean really, what is the incentive for hoping they win? Why take it personally if I want them to remain 8th seed and hope for what's best for the Rockets?
The year of the Dragon! Interesting stuff http://www.thepostgame.com/features...-jeremy-lin-tim-tebow-nba-cleveland-cavaliers
