    Lin shot 6 three pointer's tonight. Guy above me wants him to shoot 6 more? 12 3 point shots is what Lin should be shooting?

    The great PGs in history all passed up shots regularly to get teammates going and into the game. Watch old tapes of Stockton, an excellent shooter. Or Maurice Cheeks, one of the best midrange PG shooters of all time (shot 52.3% FG over an entire CAREER).

    Lin has always been a smart and team-first player, so I really can't see him being too dumb to make the percentage play.

    The possibilities to me:
    1. Lin cares more about getting his teammates going than his own scoring/stats. He is still playing and thinking like a PG.
    2. He will get benched if he shoots too much, e.g., he is being instructed to subrogate his game. This is a real possibility when you think back to some of McHale's comments last year.

    Or both 1 and 2.

    if he keeps hitting at a 40% clip, he won't get as many looks, spacing the floor for everyone else.

    Tonight yes, he should have. Yes, super seriously. I can't fault you guys for being too dumb to understand this, but Jeremy went to Harvard, he should be able to figure this out.

    Watch Kevin Love play. He's much more aggressive about looking for 3's and he's a worse shooter than Lin. Because Kevin Love understands basketball.

    Go back to the beginning and read though the logic, the basic calculation, and if you seriously don't understand this, you're hopeless.

    I've spelled it out clearly for you guys. Lin should be shooting ALOT more threes. At the end of regulation, I think he only had 4 attempts in 36 minutes. That's ridiculously low for a 40% shooter.

    6:50 left in the 3rd quarter of Wolves vs Clippers, and Love has 5 attempts in 21 minutes so far.

    Jeremy played 46 minutes, and only had 6 attempts. AND HE'S A GUARD.
