    It's not about how well he's playing. It's about perfecting each decision. He went to Harvard, and he's capable of making far superior decisions on the court than he does now.

    PASSING UP THREES IS STUPID FOR A 40% 3PT SHOOTER. He should be called out for it. That's what this thread is about.

    I hope you guys realize how stupid Jeremy is for passing up 3pt shots. He should've shot 8 so far (8:45 left in game), and he only has 4 attempts. In those 4 shots that he's passed up so far, the Rockets have scored 2 points.

    He's not stupid for passing on those shots, hater. For all we know, his right elbow may still be bothering him (or he made a decision based on something else). Regardless, the guy is one of the top performers out there.

    Ok, it's clear you either didn't read, can't comprehend, or forgot the premise of this thread.

    It's about shot ATTEMPTS, not shots made.

    HE SHOULD BE SHOOTING ALOT MORE THAN HE DOES NOW.

    That's the premise. He should basically have nearly 10 attempts this game from three.

    But he keeps passing up on these shots. If anything, this game should show that he should shoot more, like I'm ****ing talking about.

    NOW RE-READ THIS 100 TIMES, SO YOU HAVE A REMOTE CHANCE OF UNDERSTANDING THIS.

    Smart players do not take 3s.. and Lin is a pass first guard. Do you know basketball or do you just like to watch ESPN highlights? There is more to basketball than shooting 3 pointers. What DONT YOU understand?

    Ok, I'm going to try to explain a simple concept to people who don't seem to get it.

    If a guy shoots 40% from 3pt line, and let's say he attempts 100 shots a game. Is he shooting too much?

    This should be easy to answer. Now if you can wrap your head around that, you should realize that Lin is certainly not taking nearly enough shots from 3pt line.

    Now we don't know if he should be average 6 attempts per 36min, or 10 attempts per 36min. But we know it's alot more than he is shooting now.

    And this game is another example of how he's passed up many 3s, which resulted in worse outcomes.
