I'm gonna try a serious answer here. First, he is coming off a major injury - there is a good possibility that he is still feeling the effects of that. Second, there is this Linsanity thing. It is one thing to have a game every other day and be in the zone - it is a whole other thing to have people talking have a year about you and whether you are as good as advertised or not, if your contract is ridiculous or not and if your time is already over. Then go to a whole new team, learn a new system - get a superstar right before the season and then having to adjust the system again and try to find your new role. So I'd say combination of injury effects, pressure and new team/system. But there is no need to panic right now, because all of those things will improve with time!
Your wish will be granted. Lin will lead his team mates on number of threads by the end of this season.
A horrendous, non-productive, useless thread. And when is Clutch going to ban anyone with less than 500 posts from starting a thread? Cannot be soon enough.
I blame job security and a fat contract for loss of Linsanity. The best I seen Jeremy play was first, during summer league to get noticed and get a NBA offer. Then last Feb when he might be released he performs well and works his butt off not to get cut. No coincidence. My observation is that Jeremy has become complacent.
I blame God. After all, according to Jeremy, it was God that gave him the opportunity to shine and sparked Linsanity. Now God is making Jeremy Lin suck. God was responsible for the air ball. I hope Lin thanks God for his poor shooting, just like how he thanks God for everything else.
This may be one of the reasons. Thats whats wrong. If they would just give him the same freedom they gave Lowry and Googi like last year he wouldn't be sucking. He's a pnr player, not a jump shooter.
