It depends on the team you have. For the Rockets, I would take Maloney.

Matt Maloney showed up in the playoffs.
Watching prigioni and terry play further emphasizes that lin was the worst backup point in the history of rockets playoffs

    Clutch when doing what?

He was howard Eisleys whipping boy.

He was the ultimate failure and decay of clutch city

Austin Rivers and Jordan Clarkson are LA MVPs. Jeremy Lin sucks

I think a more complete comparison would be Lin vs Drexler.

Dont want Jeremy Lin anywhere near a basketball.

Dont want Matt Maloney anywhere near my bank account.

    I'll take Matt.

He could play, and he played with Hakeem and knew how to throw a great post pass.

He even came back and had a brief stint with the Hawks and played decently.

Jeremy Lin went on a streak and became an internet sensation. Les wanted to make money, so we offered him a contract. Our popularity soared.

Matt didn't make playoff errors like Jeremy.

Please recall Portland. We had that series if not for Mr. Lin. He just had to try to score, when we didn't need a bucket, and he couldn't dribble like a point guard and turned the ball over.

2 losses for a guy being paid more than guys who average 20 ppg.

    Nope.

    Maloney all day.

Even though the Lin's play has diminished to the point where we compare him to Maloney, it would still be awesome to see him hit a game-winner for the Lakers.

Just imagine. He would be such the unhung hero.

It doesn't matter...just bring his name up and everything else would be fine...on the table.
