lol you are overreacting. Lin just came back from injury and for him to get 20 pts is over achieving. He has been fairly consistent throughout the season until his injury.

You do realize McHale kept Lin in the game in the 2nd half on multiple occasions even though Lin was turning the ball over a lot, leaving the shooters open and taking bad shots? Lin played 36 minutes, so this "short leash" thing did not apply in this game (unless you think Lin should be playing 48 minutes a game).

You could point out one instance and purport bias when what's more likely is a tactical decision to take Lin out with 2 minutes left in the first quarter and put him with the 2nd unit at the start of the 2nd quarter.

It might be bias.... But it was more frustration over the lost game than anything else.....

The frustration over Lin is the fact he used to be one of the most electrifying players to watch, especially with the game on the line.... It just seems like he's not even permitted to try playing this way.... And I do think it has denied the Rockets opportunities to win games.

    Cannot agree more!
At this stage of career, Lin needs to learn from errors under exposure to the highest pressure. He is not getting the chances as is. A trade or another coach would be the solution. Otherwise, he wouldn't live up to his contract to make him a good trade commodity before the contract end.
