lol well if you didn’t jump on here talking down on lin instead of reading my first post that I addressed the bad plays in mr.TRUE ROCKETS FAN you would’ve saw I said something about his dumb plays but how the team still had a chance to win and how he played big game in OT. This isn’t a go at lin discussion, this is a serious question. Some players are high risk high reward. If you expect lin to be perfect and a true PG after one of year of starting you should lower your standards.

I want to know why harden and howard big games didnt lead to a win (game 2 & game 6) did they need help ?

I didn't go at Lin because he is a polarizing player, I went after him because he very much is responsible for at least one of our losses. He is deserving of praise and condemnation for his play. If that's "going at Lin," than you're just going to have to deal with it.

Howard and Harden didn't get stripped with seconds remaining on the clock. Howard and Harden didn't call a timeout down one possession with 30 seconds. However, I and many others have credited much our offensive and defensive woes to Harden. Howard, imo, deserves NOTHING but praise. He played rather consistent all series long. Harden and Lin did not. Harden's poor play certainly contributed to our losses, but unlike Lin, they weren't plays at the end of the game that caused us to lose.

I don't expect Lin to be anything but what he is. That is a spark off the bench in a fast paced offense. He isn't a good shooter. He isn't a great decision maker, he's not that great of a passer -- though he has a nice no look ON FAST BREAKS. Much of his poor contribution to the series can be explained by matchups and Beverly's health, however, he wade major mistakes on critical plays and therefore rightfully receives more critique. When we slow down the ball, he is not effective -- that's on McHale as well.

Again, people getting too defensive when Lin is critiqued.

If Lin and Asik didn't play well in the Playoffs, i am sure NO TEAMS would want them so therefore their trade value is significantly low. But now their trade value is at an all-time high, i think the Rockets can get something done if they really want to do a trade.

LMAO. Howard going for 26 and 14 didn't lead to any wins but Lin's 10 points on 41% shooting led to two wins. BRILLIANT!

    You know how it is.

Some people just want to have it both ways.

As you pointed out, Howard's 26 and 14 didnt lead to any wins but Lin's 10 points on 41% shooting led to two wins.

And others, Lin's 1 turnover leads to multiple losses and XYZ's multiple missed
free throws/multiple turn overs/25% scoring rate/etc/etc is not to blame too.

Like you, I am getting very weary of BOTH parties.

Ah well, on to the next season.

Will be interesting to see what moves Morey can come up with.
