Jeremy Lin sets record for 6th worst PER in the history of the playoffs

I think I'm bowing out after reading this one. I love this team, glad we made it back to the playoffs, can't wait until next year and Panda just pwn'd.

The haters say that because they are inferring that Asians are inferior, its the only reason. A lot of the hate comes from bigotry and ignorance. The worst are those who say crap like "I like Jeremy but I hate his fans" ie his "asian" fans.

I live in Australia and I can tell you that there are quite a lot of non Asians who are Lin fans.

 

This thread title is an embarrassment to the whole GARM community. How can one set a record for 6th anything? It's not even logical.

 

I live in Cronulla, Sydney LOOL. Stuff gets a bit rowdy here haha. But yeah I've never understood why a lot of people think everyone who is Asian worships Lin. Quite the opposite, some people actually shy away from it for fear of being labelled a 'homer' or whatever.

If you like a player cause your german you like Dirk, your Thomas Robinsons sister so you go for him, its nobodies business.

But criticism of the fans who see Lin as some 'candonowrong' entity is at times more than justified. People just need to be reasonable and objective in their evaluation of Lin and there shouldn't be any issues. Everyone, Lin included knows he played terribly, but he was injured for the most past, so take that for what its worth.

But its become painfully obvious in not only this thread but others, that some people just have an agenda, NEED TO RELAXX. Go hug your mother, cook your gf dinner or something. Hell ive been up 3 straight days for a finance presentation and Im watching NY/IND battle for the crappest FG%.

Nobody is saying Lin played well in the play off series. Actually few people don't say he played bad. The fact is there for everybody to see.

People who are defending Lin is because "created a record for sixth for 84 minutes played" is BS and this tpye of bashing does not add anything constructive to the team and fans.

It is not like some Lin fan is creating a thread prazing Lin's performance. They are defending him against a troll.
