How many McHale and Harden hate threads are there? How many Lin hate threads are there?

Well, at least both Sikma and Perkins have an NBA championship. If Lin gets of of those then who cares about his PER?

He was also record-settingly good last year. Using that sample size, Lin is more talented than Iverson, MJ, or Shaq.

Small sample sizes tend to exaggerate reality.

McHale criticism is justified because he is the coach, NBA coaches are always under fire.

But I am truly annoyed by the Harden and Lin hate threads, flame throwing between LOHs, LOFs; not actions of true fans.

"they said." lol@this troll. u prob think per is the best stat to rate a players value. newb just watch the games becuz u can't understand where the real value of player statistics is. lool! and jeremy lin was injured and played 4 games. do u comprehend how a small sample size messes up stats?

u prob thought raymond felton could shoot 3 pointers better than jeremy lin if u weren't bein an ignorant newb earlier this season.

and u think goran dragic shot better 3pt% than jeremy lin this season. hahah fail troll. "jeremy lin cant shoot jeremy lin cant shoot"

plz jeremy lin shot better than dragic from the 3.

If you take the sample size of Derek Fisher from the OKC-HOU playoffs then he's found new legs.

If you take the sample size of Derek Fisher from OKC-MEM then he needs to be fired.

Sample size is a funny thing. :p

Give me a player who has a chance to improve than an older player who can only get worse or get (more) injured.

So yeah, Lin was injured/sucky for most of the playoffs; I'd rather he get pissed off about all the people putting him down than sit on his laurels. It'll be like his bloody head/nose and get him all fired up and motivated.

Looking forward to the off-season, honestly, and for the entire team to improve!

What is this? Are we even talking about the same thing? No, we are not. That's why I can't take you guys seriously.
Lin was injured, he showed his willingness to play but probbaly shouldnt have played because he impacts the game in a negative way playing hurt. I said this before the second game starts in the game thread and I still stand by it.

Then again, we are not even talking about the same issue here.

He's injured. It's also not a coincidence that we won 45 out of 82 games when he started.

If there's true LOH, then you are the prime example.

Idk man, I think JLin cost us maybe 5 or 10 games.. we could have won 50 games this year if it weren't for Lin. We could have been a 4-5 seed!!!!

We're talking about his playoff performance, try to stay on topic here. He was so horrifically bad in his 21 MPG, it cost us the series.

Yup, so did Lin. Kobe played thru a ruptured achilles. He hit a three to put them into the playoffs. Lin found a way to get back on the court, but couldn't find a way to be effective. Against the backup. Sorry, backup to the backup.

What is so wrong with saying it like it is? Lin isn't jumping around saying how great he was during the playoffs. He knows he needs to improve. And he will. But why on earth are you defending his playoff performance? It was bad before the injury.

You might be right, if he wasn't injured we might have advanced, OKC survived their starting PG's injury but Rox didn't. You could certainly look at it that way.

The OP gets a gold star from me for being a great fisherman.

S/He loses that star for being a Gogi nut hugger. Let me remind everyone : The GM that signed Gogi boy got fired and the GM that signed Lin got an extension.

What i find weird is Greg Smith had a PER of 13 and Parsons only upped him by .7 with a PER of 13.7. Basically, PER is sh** and is made even more misleading when the sample of games is so small.

Of course, this is not to take away from the turd that Lin produced but yeah, PER sucks.
