oh god, the youtube comments.. theyre already discussing the possibilities of a ho/chen/wang being the next lin.. these guys are a virus, they think theyre helping these players by showing unlimited support but they are making people dislike guys like lin for really no reason.. yea we should show blind support for jeremy, but the LOFs make me want this guy off the team. telling people who have been watching nba basketball their entire lives they are idiots with low iq's.. if they want to get their buttholes all wet because jewremy lit up some scrubs at the Y, then fine, let it be their moral victory.. stupid rocket fan low iq jeremy number 1 hahaw
Lots of assists too. Love the change of pace to beat his opponent. If Jlin is allowed to play his game, he'll easily score 20+
Even if Jeremy Lin scores more here, there would still be naysayers. But if he only scores 5 or 6 points, expect some serious bashing. To Lin fans, ignore the detractors and stop being so defensive and sensitive for once. IGNORE. Let Lin's game do the talking. Stop defending him.
Combine Parsons' shot and defense with Lin's layups and passing and you have the perfect player, Cheremy Larsons. Spoiler
In the SF Pro-Am, they do play D. The SF Pro-Am is a significant annual basketball summer league event sponsored by the city of San Francisco. The Pro part is NBA and international players. The Am part is college players looking to get noticed and scouted. As for why Lin was playing I suspect it was because Peter Diepenbrock (Lin's HS coach) was coaching the team. Notice that his brother was on the team as well. You can bet that every player looking to get noticed was playing their best on both sides of the floor. Not NBA level talent to be sure, but nobody looking to get picked up for summer league or NBA team try outs is going to be mailing it in. http://www.sanfranciscoproam.com/ Pro players who have played the SF Pro Am... http://www.sanfranciscoproam.com/pastplayers-m.htm Check the list. This isn't exactly a bunch of guys from the YMCA in an exhibition.
People really underestimate how good NBA players are. Even the 12th man on the bench would destroy most college players. Making it to the NBA is hard.
I posted this vid in the 78% thread yesterday. I didn't start a new thread because I was afraid it'd attract all the ABJs and haters. Exhibit A: the Bev comment
for a video titled "Jeremy Lin GOES TO WORK At The SF Pro Am Drops 45 Points!!!" there were quite a few plays of lin getting TOOK.
I scored 106 with James Harden in 2K13, on the hardest setting...that's almost the same thing, isn't it?
And you must be confused. LIN was the one who dropped 38 on the Lakers and 38 on the Spurs. Bev was the young fellow playing in countries not named America.
