dude the season hasn't started yet - what's he gonna show? and he balled out and showed plenty in preseason. like you said, what else can he do?

and really, he would've never made it this far in his bball career if he's the type to just let people walk all over him. he would've ended that quest when he didn't get 1 single scholarship after being named california player of the year in his division.

he's been getting the last laugh all this time, and will continue to do so.

the post on FB isn't passive aggressive - he views this as yet another trial in his life and is handling the way he knows how.

 

The funny part about tonight is that if Lin drops 20 off the bench (and I hope he does) the Lin fans will not embrace it but rather lament how many points he could have scored if he played more. :grin:

I think Jeremy Lin will have a fantastic season as our 6th man. He is probably the second-most gifted player on the Rockets offensively, but it's just a better fit to have him be the 6th man.

 

Recall he chucked a basketball at a female referee. Kyle "Battery" Lowry.

 

This is off topic, but Lebron just got dunked on. It was sweet!!!

 

Okay LOFs.. Look at it this way: either have Harden come off the bench or Lin. Because with DHo and Harden in, Lin is not getting that many shots.

 

Yeah, that's not going to work. They would pick Lin to start over Harden.

 

I'm starting to believe this also. Look at Lin's exit video last season. At the beginning of the video, the media ask Lin how did the exit interview went. If the interview went well, I would think he would be more excited but he seems a bit subdued.

Besides the childish and accusatory name-calling, I think Lin is even better if he passes the ball more and facilitate rather than shooting so many times.

Anyways, if Lin handles the ball a lot I'll say fine, otherwise, McHale's got some problems.

That's a good way to put it. 25 million for a starting PG, but we're talking about fit. Even though last year Lin was a big part in helping the Rockets make it into the playoffs in his actual rookie season playing as the starter with Harden. So now its about "Fit".
