Injuries are apart of sports but over worked players tend to get injured more. I hope McHale is finally learning and will use the bench better from now on out. He has more depth than he has ever had in his tenure here and he was still running certain players in the ground. Now he's being forced to play more players. Good that this is happening early, could be a blessing in disguise for the long run.

Brooks should be looking at 28 minutes a game, and Brewer should get some looks as well.

Raising the value of all our assets!

Coming back from surgery is completely different than a simple sprain. Also, how did this thread get 5 stars? Are people glad that he's out?

Now we'll be hearing this injury to be the excuse for every single non-linsanity performance by him for the rest of the season.

Ugh this sucks, but I'm glad he's resting now. He's still by far the best point guard on the team, and our most consistent player so far. AB has been great, but tbh I don't see him continuing this hot streak.

Are you purposely trying to troll? The Rockets have an injured player, one who's been playing well.

It's not like Lin's been playing like Amare Stoudemire and shouldn't even be suited up.

Seriously, show some class. Harden gets injured and what you see mostly is people saying he needs to rest up and will be critical to the season. PB gets injured and people want him to come back healthy.

He's a Rockets player, and one of the better players at that. No matter how you cut it, it's not good for the team. One less scoring option, one less play maker, and all you can think about is how a segment of the fan base is going to behave 2+ weeks from now.

Good job lowering the standard on the forum.

Don't know if anyone else has bought this up yet in the wake of Lin's latest injury but Drexler usually makes a good point on broadcast that Lin needs to learn how to fall. Lin puts a lot of abuse on his body most of the time when he drives. Even though this injury happened on a defensive play, because of the way Lin plays he could have continued injury concerns. He may need to adjust the way he plays to an extent to protect himself so this isn't an ongoing issue.

Morey would tell you that drawing foul is one of the most important offensive skills because shooting FTs is the most efficient way to score, second only to dunks and layups.

Posters who predict what Lin fans are going to say make this board even more unreadable than the extreme Lin fans.

I'm referring to the fans who are only here for lin, not for actual rockets fans. of course its not good for the team and i hope he has a speedy recovery, because we could use him. It's just the delusional fans on these forums that ruin it. Reason why you don't see that with harden is because we don't have any harden only fans.

AB gets no respect from the refs, so he gets hacked to death. You only need single coverage to hack a guy.

Undersized players like Brooks are the complement to oversized players like Yao/Shaq/Howard - anything goes when defending them. No holds barred. Hack city.

He has fresh legs so its definitely possible. If he keeps a positive and aggressive attitude, he can play at a high level for several weeks atleast.

    BROOKSANITY is coming!!

It is a big blow. I hope that Brooks and Bev can continue to do a good job. Hope Brewer can do a good job to make things easier for Harden too.

They're masochists. They complain about things that Lin's fans say here, but a lot of them also go out looking for it too.
