this will be a good opportunity for beverley to step up now. he's show flashes of being able to get buckets 1on1 when we've needed them. he'll have to create more for dwight and asik now as well. i'm not expecting brooks' minutes to increase significantly because he's still a defensive liability against the most starting poing guards.

gotta feel bad for lin, the guy works hard all summer and then goes out early

Harden should come back tonight or tomorrow night. I hope McHale is careful with his minutes and doesn't overplay him seeing Lin is out.

Are we going to call Canaan up now? We might as well call Covington up as well with all of these wing issues.

I hope they don't call either one up unless it's for actual minutes on the rockets. Their value to the vipers has been huge

So he suffered both a knee contusion and a knee sprain from the contact with Millsap?

6'8" and 250 lbs, so he's not exactly a lightweight when he's steam rolling down the lane.

get these injuries out of the way early. Im not even worried. Rockets depth is on 2008 levels. AB can hold down Lin's spot in the Rotation easily. We all know one thing is certain: TOs will be at a minimum with Lin and Harden out.

I think the Rockets can still beat Nets without Lin and Harden.

He's killing it at just the right time. Not worried. I can't remember a time we were this deep at versatile scoring guard.

Grade 1 knee sprain is not that bad. I doubt it will affect his performance all that much.

Not really worried about the Nets. It's the Spurs tomorrow that will be a handful...

we badly need a back up SG right now..unhealthy Harden and JLin scoring off the bench will be missed.

At least it wasn't the surgically repaired knee that was impacted...

Yea if you watch the vide--its hard to see--but theres knee to knee contact (that im guessing causes the contusion.

Then when he lands, the right knee buckles, ever so slightly, which probably causes the sprain.
