Lin is indecisive at times. He just needs to relax and be in attack mode. I know he's better than whatever he is doing right now.

 

he is aggressive on the offense. he attacks the basket often, which is his strength as he has one of the fastest first steps in the league. he shoots when he is open, which i'm alright with as i don't want him forcing up shots (especially when his foot is on the 3-pt line )

he can't play with reckless abandon because he knows mchale will bench him

 

He's still a virgin, you only learn how to be a man after you have some experience being a man. Jeremy will not change for now.

 

you describe lins situation perfectly.

either he has 2 personalities 1 that can play well and the other that shows up sometimes at the worst times in the middle of a game.

or he is timid and holding back because he defers to the "stars" of the team or when his shot isn't falling.

there are times you hear the snap of net with his shot when it's on and instead of continue to shoot and attack he starts deferring, his shot goes cold and we know the rest of the story. i'm just tired of one day we think he has turned the corner with a 20+ pt game to score 3 games in a row with 6 or 7 pts.

 

Lol Lin is supposed to be like Tim Tebow, being a christian and a virgin and all, but Tebow has some sort of mean streak and bully to him. Why can't Lin be like that?

 

Well, it really depends. If the other players are playing well, Lin can/should play within the flow and in control. But when the starters are struggling, he should take risk, go balls to the wall, attack the basket even when he is defended well.

In any case, he should definitely learn how to draw foul ala Harden.
