At least this is an affirmation of the fact that Lin needs to at least play decent for us to win. Its not the fact that he wasn't shooting well, but what pisses me off more than anything is when you hang on to the ball for like 10 seconds when you're wide open because you are so scared to shoot. Mchale should have taken him out, there is no place for that in the NBA. The third time he did that the defense knew and just picked off the pass.

Why the hell didn't McHale go with Beverley  He was clearly playing circles around Lin.

Lin played like crap, but this loss is on McHale.

Lin is trash. We need a PG and PF upgrade.

He was shooting awful...but in the beginnning he was setting up assists. At the end of the game he got too scared to do anything and let the other team know he was going to pass. He was standing wide open at one point and just waited for everyone...it looked like middle school basketball for a second there.

Fixed for you. Lin is really good some games, solid some games, and absolute garbage some games.

I'm truly stunned how somebody can be so inconsistent.

Not to disagree with you that Beverley outplayed Lin tonight, but +/- is useless. Parsons was a - too and he was feeling it.

    Jinx thread. Lock this up.

Can someone tell this fool to stop playing like a ****ing p***y out there? I don't care if he misses. I care when he forgoes open shots and pump fakes LAYUPS because he's too scared of getting blocked.

How could we lose to the ****ING WIZARDS.

that is the same play I am referencing, its not when he shoots bad, its when hes too scared. Its really difficult to be playing 4 on 5 especially with small ball.

I think lin and hardon don't compatable with each other, hardon didn't pass the ball to his teammates even when he faced strong barrier

Because when Lin shoots and misses too many times, McHale will take him out of the game right away and yell into his ear on the sidelines.

If Lin passes the ball to a teammate, even if he's not in a position to do anything with it, then he gets less blame. That's why we see so many turnovers where he jumps up for a shot, sees the defender in front of him, worries about missing the shot or getting blocked, then turns around midair and passes the ball. He isn't playing to win, he's playing to satisfy a control freak coach.
