Or is a deceptively good passer.

Lin is such a sickly guy. First he had 4th quarter allergy. Now he's allergic to playoff games. hahahahah

Lin will improve. if he doesn't he will get traded for a better piece (although our glaring weakness is at PF, everyone seems to be keen on attacking our average point guard)

First, Armchair All-star Air Canada thought he could take Lin 1-on-1.

Now, Lin's no better than a HIGH SCHOOLER?

This forum is getting rapidly stupider now that there aren't any Rockets games to watch.

Who is said a high schooler is better? I said the reason people think he is so special is because he took the league by surprise and no one knew his game. he caught a lot of people flat footed and not ready for him, all of this while he was asked to be aggressive. Now everyone knows they need to guard him better, and it sure doesn't help at all that he is too passive. I am much more comft with Bev and Brooks.

so... when no one knew about him, he posted 20's and 10's over a 7 game winning streak. ok.

what does it say about bev when he posted 10's and 2's over a 3 game period when no one knew about him?

my point is not that lin is better than bev. my point is... you are a r****d. if he really is as horrible as you say, what does it say about the league when he averages 14 and 6 over a 82 game season AFTER the league had found out everything they needed to know about him? by your rationale, shouldn't he be like a 6 and 2 guy by now?

Are you really going to tell me that the regular season has anything to do with playoffs? your boy got man handled every time a pg roughed him up genius. Why did we lose momentum every time he came in during the playoffs?

The funny thing is that your high school analogy fits Beverley perfectly: nobody knew who he was, and he played well for a couple of games in the playoffs.

And good thing the Rockets aren't run by how "comft" you feel.

My opinion is that we should see how J-Lin does at the beginning of the season. If the turnovers and the lack of hitting open J's are there, I think we should deal him for a 1st round pick in the 2014 draft.

You're right. All young players should be given about a max of 1.25 years in a system to prove that they're all that before we ship them out.

And 1st round pick? Which team did you have in mind? So Lin sucks so much that he should lose his starting to position to Machada/Douglas/Beverley/Brooks, but a team should be willing to give up a 1st rounder for him?

    LOL

Remember that game when we crushed Utah and set a record because we dare their PGs to beat us, and they couldn't?

Being a good NBA player means you can knock down shots when given the opportunity. Linsanity proves that. If this is simply a problem of a lack of information, then you should see scrubs beasting all the times.

yeah he was because he was injured its up to the coach to determine if he can play to the best of his abilities and wat kevin mcfail guessed wrong.

were u paying attention to the nfl playoffs this year? i guess u weren't. robert griffin 3rd was injured, couldn't run and brought his team down with him, redskins lost a playoff game.

if u have a good coach they'll make the adjustments, if u have an ignorant old geezer then well pride takes over and everyone loses.

Probably because mid way through the first half of his second game he got injured and after that he played injured. It could also have to do with the fact that Russell Westbrook is one of the top five point guards paired up with one of the top five overall players in the NBA today.

People bring up Lin's performance in the playoffs like that is how you judge a player ignoring everything that ran counter to the opinion from before the series. Lin hasn't been a super star but he has been decent enough PG for the price.

This series made me look at Lin in a different way

He played like crap, and for a guy i considered a solid defender, he got trashed b Westbrook while he played..

As unlikely as it was that we were going to go far into the playoffs I'm amazed at how upset people are at Lin for having a couple bad games in the playoffs while injured and playing against one of the best in the league.

Here I am just happy that we even won a couple games in the playoffs in the first place. Here I am happy that Lin did a solid job for us during the regular season.

    Get over it people.

Lin has elite what? Now that's a joke. I'm sorry but maybe you should look up Matt Maloney before you say they are nothing alike. Both got cut from the Golden state warriors and both were undrafted from an IV league school. Both got over blown paychecks because they played well for a small stint. Now you want to talk.differences... Maloney was like 14th best in 3 pointers as a rookie. Scorched a young Marbury (before selfish starbury came out) for 26 points and sank some clutch shots in the series against the sonics. When things got tough that guy at least stepped up. Lin sat on the bench...and deserved to be benched because that was all he is good for... Bench warming. Oh and Joe Johnson is another pansy. Heck what's the guy doing now? First round exit while playing in the east..? Glad he's not a Rocket. isiah thomas played through a broken ankle to score a 25 pts against magic johnson and the lakers. Parker is playing through a bruise, wade is playing bruised and so did chris paul. Welcome to Playoffs check your panties at the door.

lol, fine, they have similar background and some coincidences. Their games are not very similar tho, I definitely won't call them clones. Have you seen Maloney dunk on someone like Lin did Garcia? Lin has much faster first step. Lin is much better at throw football and no-look passes. Lin averaged 14 and 6 for a season, Maloney never more than 10 and 3; that's huge a$$ difference you see?

Alright JJ is a pansy, how about:

Pittman (deep shoulder bruise) will miss Tuesday's game

Antoine Walker missed Sunday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers because of a deep bruise in his left knee, and coach Doc Rivers said the star forward might be out all week.

Troy Murphy will miss four to six weeks with a deep bone bruise

Wade was held out of the Heat game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night because of a bruised right thigh

Sacramento Kings leading scorer Marcus Thornton is expected to be sidelined one to two weeks with a deep bruise in his left thigh.

Hey I guess you are tougher than Pittman. If it makes you feel better to put down on these players more power to you.
