Lol first of all you haven't even seen me play bro so don't talk ****. And I thought you were originally joking but if you seriously do not think Lin would burn you every time you played him then I don't know what to tell you.

As far as the point guards:

    To me, he's better than:

    Darren Collison
    Steve Nash
    Mario Chalmers
    Raymond Felton
    Jameer Nelson
    Isiah Thomas
    Kyle Lowry
    Mo Williams
    Brandon Knight

He's on the same level as:
    Rubio
    Dragic
    Teague
    K. Walker
    Calderon
    Vazquez

He's a young, slightly below average to average starting point guard who will improve

Im don't think he is on the same level as Dragic and Rubio...imo atm they are better than Lin. Then again, I wouldn't know who they would perform with ball dominant sg.

Hearing a poster say he could beat a nba player is probably the most absurd thing I've ever heard.

Look out guys we have a new Jeremy Lin in Canadia. Morey, please scout this guy out of misery of Canada to Houston with min wage. He's gonna take over Lin's NBA's starting job and create new sensation like Lin did to NY.

Westbrook played well during the game he got injured in. He played well after he was injured, and that was why it was a huge surprise when they announced the next day that he wouldn't be coming back. Rose hasn't played at all ever since his injury; so you can't say he hasn't played well. Then again it's irrelevant to bring up both Westbrook and Rose because they are the top PGs in the league, and Lin obviously is no where close to their level.

I can see why some can argue that he did lose the series for us. Maybe they felt that when he was given minutes he didn't contribute at all. Prior to game 6, I agree that it wasn't fair to judge Lin. He was really hurting and barely even played. Game 6 was a different story. He was cleared to play. So, I can see why some felt that Lin lost us the series based on that game alone. Lin didn't do much of anything when he was out there. He was feeling pretty good that day too. Pain wasn't the reason for Lin in game 6 because honestly everyone else was hurt a little somewhere. If you watched the interviews after the game, a person even asked if he was being held back because of pain. He replied back saying he was fine. He was honest and you could tell he he wasn't blaming his minutes out there in game 6 because of his injury. All the other times he did play before game 6, he did mentioned his pain being the reason why he couldn't perform.

My opinion is that I don't blame Lin for losing us the series. I am not blaming him even though he was back and feeling better in game 6. There's a reason why he came off the bench. The team had a thing going the whole series without him. They were getting comfortable without him. So it was understandable why he came off the bench. Didn't want to disturb the flow. This is the main reason why I am not putting the blame on Lin. It's not really fair to judge him because he didn't get to really experience the series with his teammates. One thing for sure though is that you realize that Lin still isn't very comfortable with his role on the team. That was why he was so inconsistent throughout the season. He still hasn't gotten used to playing off the ball and having the ball out of his hand. It's the main reason why I think he didn't impact the game in game 6. He's not much of a catch the ball and shoot type of person.

Lin has a long way to go. He needs to improve in pretty much everything. He needs to improve his shooting a lot more this off-season. He also needs to learn how to get comfortable catching and shooting or making quick decisions. Playing alongside with someone like Harden has really changed up his game. If the coaching staffs remain and Lin doesn't improve, I don't think he would fit with the team in the long run.

Yea I'm a big fan of Rubio and I think with a consistent jumper he'd be a top 10 PG. But as of right now he'd be terrible with a ball dominant SG cause he needs the ball more than anyone. And Dragic, idk. He's basically the main guy on their team yet can still only score under 15 a game on subpar shooting efficiency. But he's probably more consistent than Lin, although he is 2 yrs older

If Lin is basically the main guy on the team, Lin will be a player(18p/8a).
Lin needs the ball, otherwise he is not a good PG

Haters are always gonna be haters. You are fighting an uphill battle. Winning will silence haters, not make them go away.

Most of the negative perception to Lin is because of Houston's lovefest for Dragic. I'm not a houston Homer so I decided to watch some Dragic games and I'm seriously unimpressed. Based on all the love for him on this board, I thought I would see Linsanity plus. What I saw was a regular point guard, average to above average. I guess I might had felt the same way towards Dragic if he came to my home team with such high expectations.

Anyway, best of luck to you.

Lin isn't the main reason. He is the reason why we lost.

So it's reached the point where some local fans actually think they are better at basketball than Jeremy Lin.

I saw Kurt Rambis play basketball once with some guys on the UCLA volleyball team. Each of these guys on the volleyball team would probably wipe the floor with Air Canada. This was in the early 90's. Kurt was RAINING 3-pointers and destroying them with a modicum of effort. He was probably around 40 by then and the volleyball players were all 18-22. That's how good NBA players are.

Ok - one of the volleyball players was some 6'7" Asian guy (Kevin Wong?) - so I suppose Air Canada thinks he could beat him...

Agree. He played like crap and we should just admit it. I'll give him a mulligan because of the injury but that's 2 years in a row now that he has been a non-factor in the playoffs. Another mulligan next year would be extremely frustrating.

For those who think they can beat JLin on the court, look up "scallenge" on YouTube. Local Boston amateurs (actually they turned out to have played some college ball in division 1 and 2 schools) send in videos and they chose the best to challenge Brian Scalabrine one on one. Scal as many of you know was a career benchwarmer for teams like the Celtics and Bulls but was a fan favorite because he only saw the court in garbage time (in a "lovable loser" kind of way I guess) So after years of hearing how random fans would claim they can beat an NBA player like him, Scal put them to the test sponsored by a Boston radio show. Result? Hilarious!!!

I would also blame McHale for letting Lin and Anderson play in that crucial minutes. It was obvious.

That's LOH logic for you. The fact that Air Canada has Canada in his name should already tell us that the chances of him being able to ball are slim to none. Now he might be able to roll one better than me...
