Jeremy Lin is a large reason of why we lost this series

Even last night. When the game started, it looked like he was more concerned with getting to the line than finishing his shot... the refs weren't calling the fouls he wanted.

I can understand late in the game, when you've got a feel for the refs, but to be jerking his head & waving his arms the way he was early... If I'm a ref, I'm looking the other way & it looked like they did for most of the game. I don't know if that was the reason why, but I know it would have affected the way I called the game.

Lin..... whatever. Just like Morey got rid of Martin, Scola, Machado, Landry who were avg to better than avg, I'm sure Lin won't stick around if he isn't pulling his weight.

How do you blame a guy for losing the series when the guy barely played because he was hurt. And in the very few minutes he was playing hurt. If we beat OKC it'd be like blaming Westbrook for OKC losing.

You can't blame a guy for losing a series when the guy wasn't even able to physically play.

He barely played and when he did he was injured for most of the time. Blaming Lin is ridiculous.

I agree, I think Lin should be moved. The experiment this year "didn't work out" with the 2 point guard system. Cut your losses, and move on. Besides, the team is already extremely strong and has a lot of potential. This is the silver lining.

Regarding Lin, you can mold skills - you can't mold passion. This setup is completely contrived.

what do you expect from the starting PG? Bev had 8 points and 0 assists last night and lots of people are clamoring for him to start since Lin is so inconsistent.

You really think going with Bev and Brooks is going to solidify the pg spot? Unless you get a bonafide star in return for a Lin-centered package, I don't think it's worth it - especially considering the gaping black hole at power forward.

"you can't mold passion" - I don't think anyone had a harder time to get to the NBA and you doubt his desire to play?

i see this a lot when people comment on Asians - they lack "people skills" or "passion" or they are just meek-looking.

Someone who isn't praising Lin alone is being labelled as a racist? Racism can be subtle and it can be not so subtle. This thread isn't about how Lin hasn't gotten enough credit. Or how he was a nonfactor because of an unfortunate injury after starting all 82 games. What this thread is about is the OP, who i am sure is a devoted Rox fan, feeling the sting of a playoff series loss, but needed to feel better. Instead of critiquing the players who actually played the majority of the minutes in this series, or just admitting that OKC is a much better team and Durant is the best player on the floor... he opted to see the one Asian face on the court who played a fraction of the minutes, who barely touched the ball, and pick him out of lineup to be his easy scapegoat, for him to vent on, to feel better. Bigotry is ugly, look in the mirror.

I had a feeling we'd get behind once I saw lin starting the fourth, once the quarter started he reverted to playing scared, the thunder seized the moment and it was over. Mchale definitely should have started the fourth with Harden and Parsons or Garcia, can't remember whether which one was in but Anderson shouldn't have been out there either. After lins debacle we lost our flow. Hes just a back up/maybe starting point guard. Reggie Jackson>Liin

As I mentioned before you guys invaded Clutchfans,

you are giving Jeremy credit for things he has not achieved.

you have to earn things, championships, mvps, all stars, scoring titles, etc

    LOL,

Didn't I tell you dudes? no, tinman gets criticized from the beginning telling the newb only fans some etiquette on Clutchfans.

you knew there was something wrong when like half of them started accusing everyone here that they are racist and that their hero is wayyyyyy better than he really is.

Anybody who saw the whole series saw that Jeremy played like crap, hell Jeremy knows that. What would worry me is if he thought he played well.

Besides, Lin already told me he doesn't play for the LOFs, He only plays for one dude who's name starts with J too.

Please explain to me how the experiment failed. This is the 1st year this new team was formed. You and the rest has to give it at least another year ( with Lin running the point) before deeming it a failure.

Ok lol lets be honest here. If you know basketball ,do yall really think we were going to beat the raining western conference champs. Come on now, lol pointing the finger on one particular player is ridiculous people. I dont like losing either but I know our chances were very slim. Next year we should expect this team to be much better and prepared. Morey will get another Superstar and veterans in here to help us to become a competitor for years to come.

Lol i can't believe you of all people would respond to that comment without even calling him out for those ridiculous claims he made.

Besides that I agree. He doesn't play for anyone other than himself. And yea in his interview he knew he played like crap in the playoffs. Better work his butt off in the offseason

We can blaim Lin, Brooks, McHale, Harden, Kevin Martin, Durant, our collective inexperience, you could name a hundred little factors as to why we lost. Out of all the factors I just mentioned, I hardly think Lin was the largest. Maybe I'm being bias because I like the kid, he plays hard and works hard, he doesn't take anything for granted.

    Post All-Star break per 36:
    17.2 ppg
    6.8 ast
    45% fg
    37.5% 3pt

The kid can ball. Alot of people said McHale is a bad coach and are taking back their words now. All the people saying Lin is a bad pg will be taking back their words too next season, I guarantee it.

I think you're misunderstanding me when I say "move Lin". This is for Lin's sake and for his benefit only. I think Lin did an amazing job with all the adjustments he had to make. I just think with him at Point, he's a much better player and the team performs much better.
