I am actually not to worried about his FG% I think it will rise in time. Right now Curry is missing shots from the field that he almost always makes. I just would like picks & screens being set for him & try to run some plays so he can get free & do what he does best.
Towards the end of the preseason Lin had a 10/12/5 win/game against the Grizzlies. That was highly indicative of the direction he was taking. But Harden's arrival obviously changed all that and now he's tasked with adapting. Which I think he will do just not overnight. He'll need the coaches help obviously.
8 games into the season. very pre-mature thread. If he is still this oor by midway point of the season or the latter part then ok, but were only 8 games into the season and btw, were 500 at this point. Alot better then many experts had perdicted. WE LOST TO A GRIZZ TEAM THAT SMASHED THE HEAT AND WET INTO okc AND STEAM ROLLED THEM AS WELL. wE LED THE GRIZZ FOR MAJORITY OF THE GAME ON THEIR FLOOR. It's not all doom and gloom.
Not sure, oh actually he wasn't injured and he didn't have any surgeries...he simply refused to play in the playoffs last season. Alright, my apology.
Sampson just said they will work to implement more P&R's in the offense for Jeremy Lin. All hope is not lost yet LOF's.
Not at all indeed. People need to set their expectation right, this team at this stage isn't contending a playoffs spot, they are just trying to find their identities in this league. Be patient.
Cool. It was inevitable. Got to be patient. Hell, they were busy planning for the Heat only a few days ago and then a homestand win with the Hornets. Plays will come.
This isn't a LOF thing. This is a rocket thing. Why pay 25 million for a pnr guard & not work any P&R into the offense for him does that make any sense to you? LMAO you seem pretty nonchalant about this. The fact that Sampson is admitting that they haven't been using PNR offense for Lin a PNR guard is an embarrassment.
To all the doubters: Do you agree that Lin has improved vastly on defense? If yes, what makes you so sure that he can't improve on offense, especially given the fact that we've already seen what he's capable of at his absolute best?
Were alot better then many expert had erdicted and infact our fan base expected as well. reality is we lost to a very good Denver, Grizz ad Heat teams. All those 3 teams are contenders for there division. I could make a case for the grizz as being the best in the west right now.
He is just a LOH. He will find any chance to bash Lin. SMH, people think you are a Lin hater. They should put this guy on ignore list.
Why bait? Stop all these name callings already, as if it makes the situation better. Anyway, it makes sense to run more pick n rolls for Lin. It's like you wouldn't sign Steve Novak to run your point.
I remembered it wrong - Lin had 7 pts, 12 assists and 4 steals in the Grizzlies win ... Youtube below - his passing was awesome. Alas we have Harden now but that's a great thing for the team, yet a challenge for Lin. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JpLtPPqW57g
Akim me and you agree for the most part & I like a lot of your posts. Don't you find it frustrating that the coaching staff is essentially admitting that they haven't been implementing sufficient PNR sets for a PNR PG that the Rockets are paying 8 million this year for? Like am I the only person that seriously thinks this staff is slightly incompetent. Like I am a bit speechless right now at Sampsons comments.
Grizz and the ageless spurs are right up there. Clippers are there abouts as well. The OKC are adjusting to Martin and getting used to the loss of Harden. There gonna need time. Lakers are a mess.
