Well, anyone who disagrees is an LOF, which means you don't know basketball, you're bias, etc. so it goes both ways and probably will continue unfortunately.

if i make a mistake at work and my boss points it out to me i can always call out another employee and say, "but this dude made an even bigger mistake, so why aren't you point that out."

do you know what i'd be if i said that? I'd be a douche. Pointing out that someone else is also deficient has nothing to do with you being deficient. It's a poor argument.

yes Harden needs to work on his turnovers. That's pretty much besides the point.

it's insulting to the team that people want Dragic and Lowry back? why is it insulting to anyone to want certain players back? Just because Lin fans are butthurt that Dragic and Lowry are doing better doesn't mean it's insulting to anyone. Lin fans logic is impeccable.

Also, Y HARDEN NO GET CRITICISM? well he does, but no one notices because there no stupid Harden fans that complains about him getting criticism thus creating mega threads.

I haven't read through this thread but I have a serious question ... does Lin have bad eye sight ? I've seen pics of him wearing glasses but didn't know if they were prescription ?

It seems like he has had 2 or 3 airballs a game. This could really be a problem with his depth perception.I've never seen a player at NBA level miss the iron so badly and so often.I can recall a couple that were at least 5 feet from the rim.

cool, cool. Just that I don't see you replying to these idiots calling Lin a joke and scrub. You seem to only want to debate against people defending Lin and you defend the criticism of Lin, no matter how ridiculous. I get it bro, you've already picked a side.

This whole board is so effing sensitive. I go on other boards and the general fans of the NBA are not nearly as hateful as some of you "veteran" fans of the Rockets. It really is disturbing and I think does have a lot to do with the "LOFs"

Sorry, no special treatment for Lin by some of us.

If he does well he gets praise and if he does bad he'll get criticized.
If the throws up an airball when wide open to win a game, he'll get criticized.

    for some of you.

Lin - if bad, then not ok to criticize
Lin - if good, then praise

And no this criticism doesn't mean people hate him.

the "other groups" had much more criticism for their favorite players by Rockets fans. They didn't act all defensive.

why didnt happened all this criticism

when Asik lost that layup against Grizzlies

in last seconds and could tied the game

detail: Lin made the last 6 points before that layup...

    answer: Racism, envy, trolling

Goran > Lowry > Sura > Francis > Mike James > Skip to my Lou > JERMEY LIN SUCKS...Deal with it.

Morey screwed it up by refusing to give Goran the player option. Really? a player option on the forth year would make put the rockets in a bad cap situation? i doubt it.

We do not expect Lin to improve...we expect Harden to improve and grow....That's why we don't critize Harden.

I was pissed the moment i heard lin was coming to Houston...Morey needs to get his **** together. You don't sign a guy to 3/25M after you cut him 4 months earlier:mad::confused::eek::(

    For some of you,
    Lin - if bad, he's a joke, I want Gogi/Lowry back
Lin - if good, he's getting paid millions

And no criticisms are welcome, overly critisize one play while applying double standards is called hating.

By that poster's logic, saying Lin should go to Lakers is insulting to the team then saying not wanting Lin on the team while wanting others on the team is also insulting to the team. I don't give a damn about Dragic and Lowry, maybe you do, but I don't at all. He's the one who said Lin fans are the ones who are the ones criticizing Harden like it was not ok for anyone to do so.

I want Sam Cassell back from the Bucks instead of Matt Maloney but I can't change that

If Lin hit that three, i'd go singing that song [insert song of your choice cause if I did you might accuse me of something]

Valid point! Still don't think that 2 TOs after a 0 TO performance is the biggest hurdle to talk about but I understand ya want it down to 0. But is it realistic when you look at every other guard in the league.

Chris Paul to per game is 2.4
    Lin has 2.6 this season

So when I'm looking at this type of commentary that labels him with a turnover problem I question what your trying to get at, do you really believe this is a serious problem. Using Harden and Others provides context and allows for benchmarking. Not decidedly a douche move.

Theres a difference between criticism of a player and calling a guy a scrub. Wouldn't you agree that this criticism is a bit overblown for one play in the 7th game of the season.

50 pages and I would say at least 20 of those are just filled with not criticism but true hatred. To me criticism is different than whats going on here, this is hatred, this is venom, this is repressed anger, this is the "I told you so that he sucks" mentality.

I know you can't see that or choose not to, I know you think this is all standard fare and JLin is getting EXACTLY the same amount of criticism/hate that any other player would. I know you think that.

To tell you the truth I don't know how some of you can fail to see the obvious that IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR EYES MAN.

You have repeated the same nonsense a few times, and making it bold doesn't make it right. That's actually the ultimate form of trolling.

When one gets criticized, the first thing and last thing he's trying to look at is race, that person has serious racism issue and often times combined with inferiority complex.

Old game threads can be found on this forum, and Asik's misses were criticized in the game thread. But his effort and noticeable improvement game after game is incredible and exciting to watch. If you want to start a new topic about Asik's shooting ability or Harden's bone-headed play or whatever player, please go ahead. I doubt anyone would "sense" racism with their fragile minds.

It's good that you brought up Asik, him and Lin came on the same term. So far, Asik's contribution and especially growth >> Lin's, and I always believed Lin has more potential. Therefore, under current circumstances, Lin warrants more criticism. I am glad that Lin himself agrees with that.

I don't expect special treatment for Lin I even understand this thread, but the amount of criticism is really overwhelming that's all. It seems like it will be this way while Lin is here though.
