So let me ask you does that buildup warrant a 50pg thread with so called fans saying he's a joke and a scrub? this guy may the your pg of the future, yet it's ok to call him a joke after 7 games? So you do agree then that most of this backlash is mostly not due to Jeremy Lin the player but other factors such as his fans and hype. What I've noticed on this board recently is that the LOH's are far far more unreasonable and aggressive than the LOF's, these LOH's are really the ones ruining this forum because their so damn angry and venomous and truly want to see this man fail. But you don't see any of that is what you're saying? this is all standard fare for sportsclubs, right? You think I only hang out on this forum. I'm a sports bettor and I frequent dozens of forums for the past decade, mostly NBA. I've never seen hate like this against a young player, especially a guy with good character like Lin.

Dude Clutch City is forever. Linsanity was just last year, it is not forever. He deserves all the criticism he gets for that missed shot like Rocket players before him that have missed shots like Rafer Alston. He doesn't a get pass because he was a former Knick. Clutchfans have criticized all players.

I’m fine with having Lin, but the Lin fans are the ones slamming our superstar, calling Houston a hick town, and saying Lin should go to the Lakers. It’s insulting to the team, which is what this board is fundamentally about.
Of course not but he does deserve criticism. My point was that harsh and stupid criticism is part of online team forums and the more popular the team, the more crazy things get. I've visited Lakers forums before I know what they are capable of. The idea of fans wanting to move lin because of a thread on an internet forum is just plain silly to me. Most of the pages are just the same ppl boosting up the count anyways, I'm sure you posted plenty of times in this thread.

I don't think it is permanent. I think it is likely temporary while they figure things out in regards to the offense. Honestly they are using picks & screens for Harden but I don't see any for Lin. The plays that I see them running for Lin are ones to get him open for a 3. -_- The only times he is ever aggressive is in transition not in the half court. Which is funny because last year Lin was his most aggressive in the half court & most tentative in transition.

TO's was one of many issues i mentioned. i also mentioned that people should have patience and not make sweeping criticisms and indictments of him as a player until there was a longer body of work. It's like if you mention one thing on this board critical of Lin, you are put into a "hater" category. It's really alarmist and overly defensive.

I see alot of Linfans criticising his play actually, true that alot of LOF are idiots but the LOH's have taken the lack of reason to another level. Harden is actually hardly ever criticised on here, and if he is then the LOH say that its Linfans doing it. I've only heard of this Lin to Lakers stuff in this thread, besides if so many people dislike Lin and think he sucks then why not push for this: JLin to Lakers for Blake and Jordan Hill, get it done Morey. This board is gonna turn to **** real soon. now the LOFs are now waiting for Lin to have a big moment and want to get back at the LOH's for this thread. Although I think they will be alot more civil than these new LOH's, these new LOH's are real animals.
