and seeing how he wasn't starting in Feb... and how crappy he's playing in that role, Id say this is the worst he's played all season.. Especially when you add in his cap hit.
If I may jump in, why does archinkent have to start it? You guaranteed it, so the burden of proof is on you. Until then, this poll trumps everything you've said.
Just from the OKC game alone.... 1) He goes into the lane, gets trapped, and then throws an easily-interceptable-scoop-or-shovel-or-whatever-you-want-to-call-it-as-long-as-you-dont-call-it-a-pass to Omer of all people who is 2 feet away from him. That was such a bone-headed play that you wont find many high school or college kids make. Yes, it resulted in a turnover. Duh! 2) He drives in the lane by his man and is in the clear for an easy layup but for some reason he tries a reverse over his head layup which is misses badly (does not even hit the rim). Oh yeah, btw, he had Jones open as well. 3) Lin with the ball on the fast break. He has someone ahead of him and someone trailing right behind him. Only one Thunder player. Lin decides to be the hero and blows the layup. Thunder run the other way and score. Those were absolutely atrocious decisions even for a rookie. Those were unforgivable plays for someone who has been in the league for a few years now and is a PG!!! Jeremy Lin is getting playing time right now because of his contract. His decision making on the court does not warrant playing time. Whats depressing is that I am not seeing any improvement in his decision making process!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do even read what I wrote or are you that stubborn? Lin was criticised way worse and much more 2 months ago than now.
This one pissed me off more than any other miscue this season... He had TERRENCE JONES under the hoop and decides to take it himself???
I saw the thread, but it was deleted after 5 minutes. He didn't give a reason for starting a part 2 of this with the same title so that is probably why.
Part two was the reason... a new poll. What's the odds that I won't get banned if I do start another poll asking the same question, but give a explanation on why I'm asking that question.. just minutes after my thread was deleted? People asked for a fresh poll... so I started a thread with a fresh poll, I don't understand why a mod hit the nuke on it.. maybe if I disable comments? (if you can do that)
The content of your thread was just "yes or no" and basically a repeated title of this thread. It will need more substance so just respectfully give an explanation for your thread and why you are creating a new poll.
Let me just make it clear since it has been discussed before. Many here agree that Lin has been terrible this year but they don't think he is a joke (even the OP admitted he started this to spite the LOFs). He has done nothing wrong to the team and outside basketball.
This thread/poll just asked "yes or no".. and since I said "if you reposted this thread".. that's what I tried to do.. I wanted to keep the variables (link the two) the same and see the outcome. How's this.. Y'all tell me how I should word this thread context wise and I'll post it.
Lin didn't make any dunk since Dec 2013. And his energy is not as great as he played in Nov. Maybe his back injury still bothering him, like DH12 last year. I hate the Rockets that keep their player's injury in secret this year, including Asik, Smith and Howard situation.
Another pathetic performance by lin but it's to the point that this is what I expect from him. We are lucky our 3 was falling of we would have lost our 4th in a row. We really miss Bev and D12
I can honestly say iam just over it.... He looks like a lost puppy on the court... even the reggie jacksons of the world are making him look less then an average player, which is what i initially thought he was and will ever be. His assist to TO ratio is disgusting, his 3 point shooting isnt anything special, his drives to the basket are most likely to end in a TO then a 3 or a foul, and to think we have to watch this **** show for one more year...god help me
The acronym LOF needs to be rebranded from Lin only fan to Lin obsessed fan. A lot of fans here are too focused on Lin, whether it be for positive or negative reasons.
Harden 7 assists 5 Turnovers...Lin 3 assists and the only turnover was because Harden wandered up the court and wasn't paying attention after he got hit by Parsons. BTW - for the year Harden 5.8 assist 3.7 TO's Lin 4.2 and 2.5 wouldn't that actually be worse?????
