you're wrong, he has an excellent first step and can take it to the rim that only harden on this team can do better. injuries hurt the team not just 1 player (lin).
honestly, the only time Lin does not get bashed by haters is when he has a hero game, which is not likely when Harden is playing. All other times, he sucks. For a lot of ppl, he does not have average games, like this one. He is either the best player on court, or a scrub.

The problem is McHale runs no sets, and there is not much off ball movement in Rox half-court offense.

It's strange on a night that Lin played really well (shots didn't fall at a high percentage but he was very aggressive, created numerous shooting opportunities, and honestly, if it wasn't for him, we'd have been blown-out) - people are still bashing him. I mean, I have a lot of criticism of the guy - but this is getting ridiculous. People are piling on now WAY beyond what is deserved.
Lin overall stats are good not great. Per 36 Its actually pretty decent. To bash this kid on basketball reasons is bogus at this point. Unless there are people here that just do not like the kid. The forum has gotten toxic and pretty divisive where its hurting the rockets not helping them. To criticize someone should be judged carefully. I dont see casspi or dmo as good players but i dont need to say a word about them. I may not like lin personally but its better to stay quiet.
Lin and his fans need to go elsewhere immediately. I understand Lin is the great Asian hope and everything, but he is a D-league player at this point, nothing more, nothing less. I blame Morey for NOT moving this guy before the trade deadline this year. I guess we will have to wait for the summer for us to move him, assuming other teams still want him at that point.
