I'm a big Lin fan, but a Rocket's fan first because they have been my team since 1986. But I say that there is a 90 -95% chance that Lin is traded this offseason so that the Rockets can get either Melo or Love (smaller chance), because LMA will not be available; and I doubt the Rockets want to wait another year to add a 3rd star. I think the ONLY way this doesn't happen is if we win the championship this year...or maybe losing in game 6 or 7 in the finals with Lin and Asik having played very big for us. I think Lin ends back up in NY where his fame started and does very well there next year as a starting guard and helps them make it to the playoffs with a marginal record and him averaging 17-20pts and 8+ assists per game...IMHO.
Sam Cassell might creep into that conversation. And claiming that Lin had no support from any coach or player is a massive reach. I'm pretty sure the teams/staff he was a part of helped develop his game when they had him. No, he wasn't pegged as a first round, can't miss prospect. So he wasn't given the future star treatment. But few players are. I've seen improvements in his game. Not huge leaps but improvements. Consistency has been his achilles heel. Recently it appears due to injury, granted, but it's all a factor.
Damnnnnnnnn over 7500+ comments , wow will this thread ever come to an end. Has to be the longest thread in the GARM.
A incendiary thread title about an extremely polarizing player? This is just getting warmed up .
King1's only purpose being here is to fight his little war in the virtual world against some screen names in the basement of his mom'a home.
We knew what Lin was when we signed him. Morey only did that deal because Leslie was upset about Linsanity due to the fact Lin was w/ the Rockets 2011 preseason team and thought the Houston brass misjudged his value. Ultimately he is what we thought he was. But to say that Leslie doesn't care about winning is a complete joke. The man genuinely wants championships and will go over the cap to achieve our goals. That's really all you can ask for as a fan. I can't see myself returning to this topic and so...

Hahhaah...I guess u cared more than u will admit..or else, why would u go to a Lin fan site...LOL.. And based on ur post I highly believe that your intellectual capacity is questionable...LOL...intelligent and knowledgeable people can counter an argument cleanly and accurately....when u start to call people names and demean them without factual proof then u need to study more..but then, u seems to be studying Online Psychology so it's understandable...hahahahah
tmac1, shouldn't you be over in the Miami Heat forum? Everyone here knows you're a king james dingleberry, hence king1.
wow people still actually like Burke? I can't believe I wanted him. The dude is mediocre, I know he's young but his athleticism is very concerning. He's small, can't finish, quickness really isn't all that great, can't get to the FT line, can't defend and just relies on his jumper way too much. I can be wrong but I don't see much upside with him as of now. As King1 said though or w/e Lin really is basically a finished product. He can improve no doubt, but don't expect him to be putting up all star numbers.
