IIRC, thats because he wasnt on the floor at that point. I watched that moment in real time and it appeared to me like Jeremey was given the clipboard to illustrate a point he was making in the huddle. Mod Mode ON: NOTE: Yall are getting better about the outright insults to each other, but I'm still seeing people compare other members to girls and animals. Drop that crap Argue your point as much as you like, but do NOT go personal. If you cant discuss without getting personal maybe we dont want you discussing here anymore. Mod mode OFF: and on a slightly less important note....this B S about Clutch hating Jeremey has got to stop. He DOES NOT hate Lin, if you want to see what happens when Clutch *really* doesnt like a player, go look up his posts and threads from the Alston era. If there was ever a Rockets player he almost hated, it is Rafer Alston.
The ESPN announcers thought Lin was doing well. However, Webber and the other two who analyze the game thought that Beverley did just great. Go figure.
you don't remember the Pippen ? or Quitten? that name was created by Clutch himself I've told these insecure and jealous fans that Clutch doesn't hate Lin, but that message won't get through to them. I personally think it's jealousy cause Clutch has access to Lin and they have access to a worn out poster on the wall of Lin.
I think herein lies the conundrum for Lin. He gets no credit for playing team ball and getting the team into a good offensive rhythm, when that's a core part of his game and skill set. He only gets recognition when he goes Linsane offensively, which is hard to do when you're only getting about 15 quality minutes a game (the rest being garbage time minutes). Beverley was awful against OKC. He probably cost them that game by not forcing Russell to shoot jumpers. He has been very inconsistent to poor offensively and overrated defensively.
R2K, after all these years, you haven't learned? All the OFs are WRONG, EVERY TIME. All the ROCKETS FANS are RIGHT, EVERY TIME.
What you want is impossible Lin Only Fan. You want a team with just one player, Jeremy Lin. that way he plays every game, every minute , every position. It doesn't work like that , hell , they don't even make a video game like that, even in NBA JAM you have play with another player, and I know you hate every player who isnt him.
In the three games prior to the OKC game, Rockets fans got a “glimpse” of Linsanity... In each of those games, Jeremy Lin had one or two plays in which he created and made a midrange shot.... The most spectacular one the high-arching floater over Robin Lopez against the Blazers, which may have tipped the scales to the Rockets favor after James Harden single-handedly put the Rockets back in the game. The issue with Lin with the Rockets has become clear.... The core problem is the clash between a midrange-starving offensive system and a player who best performs off the midrange game. It's no more complicated than that. The question now is whether the Rockets brass will finally allot freedom to Jeremy Lin to create in the midrange game. If yes, this could add a new and badly-needed dimension to the Rockets' half-court offense, that might transform the team into a truly serious title contender. (If Lin’s midrange game is productive, it will make it so much easier for the entire offense to be productive as well. Spot shooting threes was never Lin's game.) If no, the Rockets’ postseason will likely be yet another major disappointment. Because it has been shown, time and time again, that the “layups and threes” offensive strategy can be shut down whenever defenses focus expressly on stopping it. And the lack of that “additional dimension” in the Rockets half-court game will likely doom this club to yet another painful conclusion to what now appears to be a very promising season. Setting Harden free in the midrange would also add this dimension. But this team needs a player in addition to Harden to finish games.
"Hate" is a word too strong. It is obvious to me that Clutch is not fond of Jeremy judging from his podcast and posts. However people is entitled to their opinions. As a Lin fan I would argue that in almost any other team where they don't have a ball dominant SG or SF (LBJ), Lin would've thrived more or less like Dragic. Playing inconsistent minutes or roles can definitely have effects on your rhythm and confidence. Lin haters will look stupid (again) when he is eventually traded to another team.
People are entitled to English lessons too  Spoiler I hardly correct peoples grammer on the internet.....but damn.
Judging from his podcasts, he's annoyed by the Lin Only Fans. Keep in mind, Clutch has watched tons of Rockets basketball, it's not like he's watching Hakeem Olajuwon drop a quadruple double. His standards are high.
