Another pathetic display of basketball by Lin. Man this guy is so mentally weak it is sad. He needs to grow a pair and man up. It is almost like he plays scared the whole game.

You guys are really so god damn knee jerk. Really? A few bad games and Lin is worse than Canaan?

How about having a little faith in the players and the team? They will turn it around. All players have slumps.

There was a reason no one would take him off our hands at the trade deadline.

the reason is morey was asking for too much.

you need to take on a bad contract in order to give one up.

I want to see this team win and Lin is wildly inconsistent. Canaan is supposed to be a dead eye shooter and until he gets meaningful NBA minutes we don't know how he will perform. Lin's been awful lately and I''d like to see if Morey found another gem in the 2nd round.

I have faith in this team and I know what we have in Lin. If he isn't playing agressive (which he hasn't been) then he hurts the team. Our bench isn't strong (although Hamilton was one of the few bright spots last night) so we need scorers. That is what Canaan was drafted to do.

No it isn't. You guys are lying to yourselves. Lin isn't worth his contract and wouldn't start for most NBA teams. He's untradeable

Canaan couldn't even beat AB for the 3rd PG spot, and now he is better than Lin? What's next, Johnny Flynn is better than Lin now? Let's be realistic here.

i am not sure you understand.

i am agreeing that lin is overpaid and has a bad contract.

and because of that you would need to trade for others who are overpaid and/or with a bad contract.

i think new york would have traded felton & jr smith for lin.

i mean do you guys think lin > felton + jr smith?

Knee-jerk my arse. This has been going on since he got here. He is mentally weak. Every player goes through slumps but his lasts for weeks.

You don't even know how good or bad Canaan is but he is in the long-term plan. Lin is not.

Lin needs to rematch his own movie again.

Can't have unconfident players making that much money

Oh. My bad. Since I'm reading and typing from my phone I am skimming and then replying.

No, I don't want Felton nor JR Smith either.

That's not accurate at all. Canaan was designated for the D league as soon as he was drafted. Also, nobody has said who is better. We have no idea as Canaan is yet to get meaningful NBA minutes

Lin can't shoot which makes him worthless during certain points in the game

Lin has been putrid for a while now and pretty much garbage since the All Star break.

The scary thing as Rockets fans is that these are the kind of high intensity games we will see come playoff time and at this moment Lin doesn't have the mental fortitude to rise up to these challenges. We all saw how he sucked last playoffs even before his injury.

He is a good guy but I still maintain an average to below average PG who is mentally weak and lets any sort of adversity get to him mentally which affects his game and playoffs are as much about mental ability as physical.

It's doubtful they really tried to trade him. They just signed that lucrative Taiwan deal right after the trade deadline. Why would they trade him and lose that deal? Lin is a cash cow - he gets playing time due to this.

Sometimes, correction ALL THE TIME you have to follow the money.

I would add that Bev was not up to the challenge mentally last night either - was pretty intimidated on offense and average on D. Need PG upgrade now please.
