I really think Lin should just go. Look at these toxic trolls/fans on the forum criticizing him for every little mistake he makes.
Lol why are you bashing them, did you not watch Bev, constantly giving up drives and turning the ball over. He had more turnovers than points and like 1 assist. At least parsons was probably hung over. Harden is what he is.
i'm beginning to lose patience with the guy post all star he's averaging 7pts 30% FG 3.6ast 2.6tos and scored in double digit only once thanks to the blowout win in SAC i hope he'll find a way to contribute to something again, quickly
I think Lin will turn this around. He always has in the past. Just 10 games ago he had a triple double. Not really concerned to be honest we won most of the games he played badly in. When he starts trending upwards he should help us nab a few more wins.
I wonder if threads like this would exist if we didn't know how much money players were getting paid.
Lin was no different during the time this thread was made when he airballed that 3. He then went on and turned things around, and this thread went dead. The difference then was that he was a starter, so whether now he can turn things around with limited minutes, we'll see.
CP3 made Lin look like a high schooler, hope he turns it around... I don't know why, but for some reason, the better the team is playing, the worse Lin plays, it seems like he might have some sort of inferiority complex, which brings down his confidence.
What we have is an above average shooter. Lin's mental make up is weak and he's not in the long-term plan here.
Lin could be demoted to 3rd stringer if he doesn't regain his confidence soon. Sometimes I just wish he would just shoot the damn ball, instead of driving into a packed paint for no good purpose.
I really think it was the trade activity that got to him. He was openly being shopped and no one wanted the third year of his contract. That can't be good for anyone's confidence, let a lone an undrafted guy who at one point was the talk of the NBA.
If that is the reason, then it shouldn't be. First, he already achieved something many good athletes in any league could only dream: a multi - million dollar contract that Iis likely to set him for life. Second, the NBA is a business and only a very few are deemed to be untouchable. At the end of the day, he has to realize he is realizing his dream: playing bb for a living! I would tell Lin all of the above, and to just go out and have some damn fun.
Lin just looks lost and not engaged out there 1.Consistently makes the wrong decision on his drives to the basket(he goes for the layup when he is double teamed and passes when he isn't"...This isnt just from the clips game its been going on for the last 11 games. 2.Has been shooting atrociously even though most of his shots are good shots "open 3s, contested layups, jump shots inside the free throw line" 3. Cant seem to win 1on1 battles driving to the hoop...Bev consistently gets more separation which leads to the other teammates being open 4. For a Harvard grad (not saying he should be a genius) but he should at least have above average offensive and defensive awareness on the court. This goes back to point 1 but i wanted to detail how bad hes been defensively 1on1 he has been fine all year, even during his slumps he still has done his job defensively, but again when it comes down to communicating on switches or rotating off of your man.. he's been a liability I hope he can turn it around because without a strong backup combo guard our 2nd unit loses a lot..and the rockets will not see past round 2 weather it be okc, lac,or a healthy SA
