chill out, Lin is not in the Rocket's long term plan anyway. They couldn't trade him this season and he will part away from the Rocket before or after his contract ends next season. For those who hate and those who support, the reality is Lin is a goner for sure. Hater and support will have one more season to talk about him. so be patient, hate or support. The irony is hater will probably missing chances bashing Lin since he will no longer with the Rockets. This Clutchfan may finally come to peace again.
Can't speak for others. But if Jeremy Lin isn't important to our success this season, I would not give a damn whether he plays well or not. Being important to the team's chances of contending causes more scrutiny, not less. Believe me, if this was Harden or Howard putting up Lin-type production, I'd probably be freaking out right now.
Right now I would say yes. Lin is in a horrendous slump on offense and defense. It's frustrating, because he has height, speed, and has shown he can make plays off the dribble. He just can't put it together.
Lin was not fouled on that missed layup he jumped from way too far away and got scared of big baby. He's looked like a completely different Lin that we saw earlier in the season, he has no confidence whatsoever.
