Another issue with Lin over helping is that he gives weak help. In the Phoenix game there were times where he would come all the way over just to stand there and let the ball handler drive right by him. If you're going to create a hole in our defense to come over help, at least affect the ball handler. Jeez.
Wow! This is really sad. Is Lin really on the team? Clutchfans is degenerating into a hate site? Don't blame the mods, blame the LOFs! SO SAD.
Unfortunately for some and fortunately for the rest, trading dateline has passed and Lin is stuck with this team. Either you all can continue complaining in hopes that you convince the internet that this guy is killing the team, or you can be like me; Kick back, relax, and enjoy the season. Rockets are 38-10 and 3rd SEED! Team has great chemistry, two superstars lock up for a long time, lovable cast of players, budding young players, AND we still have our picks! I am very excited for this team! Why aren't you?
Agreed. In that situation, up 3, Lin should have been absolutely glued to Dragic. He is too far away, allowing Dragic to catch and shoot with just a ball fake.
we need jeremy to come off the bench being aggressive....especially when hardens not in there...because he is literally the only threat to score i don't care if he misses shot after shot... but at least its attempts instead of throwing weird turnovers..he needs 2 maybe 3 more years to develop.. but we can't wait on him..hopefully he gets it together
So because of the LOFs, it's ok to attack Lin for these reasons? OMG. Are people so weak-minded to allow the "crazier" fans to get to them? Wow. Please separate Lin from the fans that you speak of. He's not sending them here to praise him.
Most of the reasons Lin is criticized here are perfectly legitimate. It's when the LOF's make up excuse after excuse for his poor play, blaming everyone but Lin even to the point of being in denial that he's playing poorly, that the rain of criticism gets even heavier.
I think the LOF's feed the LOFH's/Trolls which in turn feed the LOF's which then spirals out of control. If Lin has a bad game, then he is not immuned to criticism like other players....the lin fans should just accept that and not feed the LOFH's/Trolls. The LOFH's should also bear in mind that there are fan's in sport players who are passionate about certain individuals. I know this will only happen in a perfect world
There are rockets fans and player only fans. Player only fans can never blame their player because they believe he is their vision of perfection , he is their fantasy come true. When Lin misses a shot, they feel they miss a shot. Their brains further swim further into delusion, ruling out facts and what their eyes see. They believe they are solely responsible for winning streaks or being better than Kobe Bryant or Chris Paul etc. Then they go to a forum where superior fans who believe in team and take their insecurities and flood the forum with it. Racism, deliberately misinterpreting statistics , jealousy, and excuses But never basketball.
Who cares...in a few games when Lin gets it going again these haters will crawl back into their crevices like the roaches they are. They act like Lin isn't a part of this team and cheer for him to do bad so they can break balls on clutchfans. Some Rockets fans y'all are.
