Parsons is clearly the second best player...the cavs have a sorry team...u put james harden on the cavs and ttake kyrie off they will still be stuck being sorry...the Rockets are mych better from top to bottom compared to the Cavs...Yes harden elevated the Rox but its not likethey are 3rd in west or something...We can easily miss the playoffs just like last year

How is it hard to judge? It is remarkably easy to judge either he does or he doesn't. People have crowned Kyrie the second best PG after CP3. With that amount of praise he has to make others around him better. Nash at age 38 with very little talent on a old Suns roster was making others better & yet Kyrie can't. The entire concept of making others better is that you can work with little talent & elevate others game. Either you can or you cannot. And Kyrie thus far cannot. Nothing wrong with that. I am just saying how you can call Kyrie the second best PG in the NBA when he doesn't make others better, has yet to play in the POs & is one of the worst defenders in the NBA.

And the second best player would probably be Andy Verajao.

Yea, like I said _ Lin had better pieces with that team than what Harden has with this team...

And since you brought up that Lakers game, Lin took 23 shots that game and had 7 assist and 6 turnovers. Talk about Hero Ball. Talk about sticky fingers. That's not freaking ball movement when the point guard takes 23 shots... He took 19 shots a game during the first 6 or 7 games they won when he started. But Harden takes 17 shots a game and Lin fans have a fit...lol..

Asik is an all star caliber defensive player and then it's Parsons.

There's no such thing as making other players better, you can only get them better shots and scoring opportunities and it's up to those players with their skills and abilities to make those shots.

Kyrie is on a team with a bunch of garbage. Nash still had some talent around him. At least more than what's in Cleveland.

Until Asik learns how to catch and stop playing scary I cannot consider him the second best player...Parsons to me is the second best..he's a two way player

Until Parsons play better defense, I cannot consider him the second best player. Just watch the game against the Nuggets, he practically let Wilson Chandler walked into the paint and lay the ball up.

So now we've lowered Lin's comp from Harden to Irving? I'm not sure this is the right direction folks. Surely the true direction of where this discussion should go towards is comparison to Nash or Lebron or Magic or Jordan. You guys are aiming way too low here.

You can't be serious. Harden's supporting cast isn't that great but it's still miles better than Irving's.

The only other great player on that team is Varejao who struggled with injuries all year and is now out for the season.

Waiters wasn't even a starter in college and is extremely raw, Tristan Thomspon is a bust, Zeller is shooting 40% & I'm not even going to mention the fact scrubs like Luke Walton, Daniel Gibson and C.J. Miles get consistent minutes on that team.

Maybe it's just a better matchup to put a bigger body on Deron since he's not that quick anymore and is more of a perimeter shooter now. Deflino and Parsons did okay against him.

I guess it all depends on what you value. I value Asiks defensive ability a lot more. He owned Brooks Lopez who ppl said got All star snubbed.

Whether you're racist or not, you seem to be a very unpleasant fellow, at least judging from the content of your posts. You don't have to be nasty, even if you have your own opinions.

Something to think about as you live your life.

Yea no doubt he got the better of brook I like Asik I just think he needs to learn how to catch and actually play up to his size...the layups he does are irritating..last night in the second half he finally started to dunk more

What posts? I'm assuming you're speaking on the ones directed at LOFs and not my entire post history. I would think one would be intelligent enough to discern between the two posting styles and not just make a blanket statement.

Oh sweet muscular baby Jesus, why is this thread even bumped after 2 straight good games from Lin?

Let's make this simple. Everyone is racist and not at racist at the same exact time...like Schrodinger's cat.

Jrue certainly proved me wrong. He couldn't run an offense last year but he surely can run one now. Dragic still can't run an offense & his defense has seriously falling off although he is still a great scorer.

And Lins terrible shooting (which lord knows I couldn't have predicted) this season has certainly dropped him although his defense is better. But if you can't shoot you are more often than not a negative on the team.

And I also said Conley Dragic & all those guys are there as well because I value things like defense just as much as I do offense. Right now the clear stand out on that list is Jrue & Conley cause they can do all of those things shoot & play defense & they have playoff experience. Kyrie can only do one.

Kyrie is an all star caliber player and will be for many years to come. Lin is a fringe NBA starter.
