He should get ripped worse than Lin cause he lied in his pre-draft interview about his aversion to flying. Wouldnt you be infuriated if Lin told the Rockets his knee was just fine during free agency, if in actuality he had a partially torn acl?
The ignorance in the first paragraph is astounding. Lin makes 5 this year. Putting up above average first year starter numbers. When he plays decent the team wins. Harden scores 25 per game but if lin is subpar we lose to the hornets. How can he be overhyped when he is not the go to guy. Yet he one game when he was he put up 38 against arguably the best team in the league. IMO he is right where he belongs an experienced point guard. In year three when he gets paid 15 we can call him overhyped with these type of numbers.

Anthony Davis of the Hornets is making 5.1 mil in this rookie year, and he didn't have any NBA track record to justify that. Lin will make 5.1 mil next season and 15 mil in 2014-15. I will be the first to criticize him if he is still not good enough to justify his pay then.

Lin barely played with Melo and Stoudemire. Stoudemire's brother died and he was out a while. Melo hurt himself the game after the Net game vs the Jazz and was out for a while too. The freaking starting lineup vs the Lakers last year was Lin, Landry Fields, Chandler, jared jeffries, and bill freaking walker.
And I said I agree with you on Royce White. Jeremy Lin is having a sub-par season. That said, if the majority of his fans didn't prop him up to be the next star then the responses would be much different.
