The following table compares JLin stats this year through 1/9 (Bold) to Steve Nash his first 6 years. This is NOT to compare JLin to Steve Nash as if he is or ever will be Steve Nash. This is simply to compare JLin's current numbers to a known great PG in his early years. Steve Nash started in only 2 games his first year, then 9,40,27,70 and finally 82 games in 2001-2002. His MPG as a starter were Jlin's current numbers in 2000-2001.

All of this is to say that there is a LOT being asked of JLin at the moment. He is starting all games this year, racking up averages of 33 MPG and delivering a LOT. In comparison Steve Nash (a PG STAR) had 4-5 years to build to this level of MPG and starter expectations.

Basically I am saying give the kid some time. Who knows what a few years will bring.

Even Beverly had 8 fga last night in 16minutes of play. Toney Douglas often had more attempts than Lin as well. It's like Lin looks to pass often that it causes him to become passive or something.

That's why Torocan's probably are flipping burgers somewhere. For someone with such a simplistic analytic skills, how can someone make informed decisions in life? Most of his opinions are like your "typical people" who based them on reactionary biases and cultural entitlements.

We should be thankful that Lin is a team-first player because if he a Westbrook type, Harden would not have seen the ball in his hands anymore..u can't even give Lin props in trying to get Harden into his mojo whenever he is having a bad night..what u only see is that Lin sucks offensively, he turns the ball over ( though Harden was worst between the two ), he is a bad passer..etc..etc..

I just hope that the next post I can see from u is a positive one..

This proves that the majority is most likely silent.

Good to know that 77% of the readers of the forum like Lin.

I also think most of them see both the strenghs and weaknesses of Lin and the other players on the team, and they are mature enough to know it takes years, not months, to develop a PG to all-star level, so they just stay cool, only offer constructive opinions and suggestions, and stay away from meaningless emotional arguments and name calling.

I have no idea why Lin only shot 7 times last night. Maybe his ankle was bothering him or he was just too fatigued? He needs to change his mentality. It seems if hes not the number one option, his mentality turns to that of a 5th option on the team. He needs to seriously change the way he thinks on that court.

Anthony Davis is getting paid more than $5 millions for his first year in NBA. And he doesn't have any NBA track record to justify that like Lin did.
