The reason I requested it closed, btw, was because the LOFs were just being uncivilized, at that point. We weren't talking about Jeremy Lin anymore. In the post where I put up my request, I quoted a guy who called me "an old woman who keeps spitting at people, got beat up, stands up and starts spitting at people again." I don't know where the hell he came up with that.
But that's the point, when a thread is getting out of hand, the moderator needs to intervene and usually lock the thread because it's causing animosity among members, right? and only LOFs are being uncivilized?

What kind of responses did you expect? You put an insulting title and you expect to get a civilized discussions? Are you that naive? But it was about a Rocket. The LOFs have just been after my head; which I find to be another silly thing about LOFs considering a lot of people agreed with me at the start of this thread and they're not getting hunted. Oh well.

Of course there are some Lin fans that aren't Rockets fans just like there are some Lin haters who are also not Rockets fans. And sure, there are other Rocket players that get heat in the GARM, but those players don't have haters who specifically joined the community to bash a player, which Lin has a ton of. You can only see them in game threads where Lin is playing poorly. All they do is comment about Lin's poor play and that's it.
I think he meant threads for Houston Rockets 2012/13 season sir as for Rafer, can't the guy just catch a break?? Let's just stick to Lin, Rafer be chillin yo, he tight now...
i honestly think it would be VERY difficult to find many here that are "Lin haters" but are not rockets fans. i dont think in this particular situation that it works both ways like that. that's a LOT of effort to go through just to express your dislike for one player, when in reality everyone's on this opinion here means nothing and will have 0 effect on how this team is ran. It seems a bit crazy but i guess you're right there could be a very small amount.
I don't think so. I think he's trying to show that Clutch is bias by showing "demeaning" thread titles doesn't exist .
