I wouldn't call a 19p/5a offense effort on 53.8% shooting awful. Having said that, those 7 TO's definitely need to be addressed.
Why would he stop shooting threes? He can't penetrate every game he needs to get his jumpshot going and hes making more 3's these past 2 games hope he keeps that up. He played awful the first half but had a good second half to make up for it he just needs to be more consistent
19(7/13)/5/6/4stl is awful? Please, tell me what other PG options the rockets have or who could they pick up/trade Lin for?
I don't understand why people keep saying this. If you are wide open you have to shoot the three. It is selfish to not shoot a wide open three that your teammate created for you. What he does need to do is step forward & take a long 2 he seems to be a lot better at those. But he has to take the shot.
Excuse me?? I'm gonna assume you don't know what bandwidth means. I can assure you a high volume site like this incurs a LARGE amount of bandwidth charges. This aint on no free hosting provider, every single time you refresh a page it costs money. Clutch went totally ad-free for years until the bandwidth charges became more than he could handle. He hates having to have ads, but it is a necessary evil to keep this place running full time.
Yep, part of his emergence offensively over the past month or so is him not being hesitant with his shot. Before when he was hesitant with the 3 it stuck a wrench in the offensive wheel. That split second you hesitate gives the defense just enough time to set, and stagnate the offense. He's never going to be a 3 point specialist, but if he can add it consistently to his tool-belt it will take his game to new heights.
Maybe we can trade Lin for some key pieces to compliment Harden and then pick up Delonte West. He doesn't turn the ball over as much and since Mchale is a great coach, he'll be able to manage West's personality disorder.
lol replace one of the most popular players in the nba... with head case bipolar delote west ? is kevin a doctor? west has bipolar which is worse then whites anxiety...
So much fail in this post. Unless you are getting a star player in return, Lin is staying with the Rockets. Him and Harden are learning(already) how to play well together. Unless CP3 is dieing to come to the Rockets and leave the hottest contending team in the NBA, I dont think Lin is going anywhere for awhile so just get used to him.
you don't need to trade anyone to pick up Delonte West, he's probably working at home depot right now
People need to shut the f**k up about Jeremy F**king Lin. He's the Rockets f**king point guard, he does a good f**king job out there, and he's still f**king young. So get the f**k off his case, cheer him on and the other f**king players, and stop microf**king analyzing every f**king thing he does on the f**king court, for f**k's sake!! Every single f**king player in the NBA has at least some degree of f**king talent, and Jeremy Lin has potential to be a f**king great player. Right now, he's a good f**king player and he's still learning, so again, get the f**k off his f**king ass and let him f**king play his f**king game the f**king way he plays it already. F**k you very much.
Exactly. Before people were killing him because he was refusing to shoot wide open 3's. Now they are killing him for shooting 3's makes no sense. He needs to shoot when he is wide open it is absolutely unacceptable to do otherwise. In fact it is borderline selfish because you let your teammates down when they went to the trouble of creating that shot for you. What he needs to learn is his range. Bull keeps complaining about him stepping on the line for long 2's but Bull is wrong he should keep doing that. Clearly he is good at those shots as opposed to 3's. Step forward a bit if he has too. That is what Tony Parker does, he knows his range. Lin needs to learn that.
Harvard Lin -- Bow to the Jeremy Lin Movement (b-o-w = Based On What?):http://www.goldenstateofmind.com/2009/12/15/1201646/bow-to-the-jeremy-lin-movement-b-o Time to re-read this article ... Lin is one truly unique player!!
He was pretty bad in the first half. But very good overall in the second. He has to be more careful taking care of the ball. He's averaging nearly five turnovers per game over the last eight
