Now I want to see you defend Lin like the way you defended the Rockets greats. Sleepy was also one of my favorites, watched him since college and in through that incredible game against the Lakers for GS. I want Lin to aspire to be atop that group we all discussed. If that happens we Rockets fans should all be very happy.
at this point I just want Jeremy Lin to hit open jumpers and not turn the ball over. those things are all I want from jeremy lin.
Sedale was a faveriote of myn because he played hard despite being washed up when he came to the Rockets. He had his best years with the Lakers.
Good, if you like hardworking players hopefully Lin will become one of your favorites too. Sedale took care of the ball and was a good shooter.
They would get every board and dominate on the break. If they miss they will follow it home. And defense would be just as fun to watch.
I don't think Jeremy Lin is Sedale Threatt bad. Sedale is more famous for nailing Dr. Dre's wife , than for his sh!tty basketball career. He used to be Michael Jordan's whipping boy back in the day. I heard Jordan and Threatt had alot of anumosity towards each other when they played together for the Bulls.
A young Francis and Harden duo would be deadly, best front court today, no doubt. Although i'd go with Kenny Smith, his outside shot would compliment Hardens drive and dish game perfectly.
Francis and Harden would end up killing eachother for the ball. There was one guy that Francis ever shared the ball with and that was the Cat. Terrible fit with eachorher.Francis was ISO dominante player and so is James.
Francis' mega dribbling (and I love Francis) wouldn't work well with Harden but Kenny would be great.
Honestly, if Lin came off the bench, it would serve him a lot better. If Linsanity taught us anything about Lin, it's that he excels when he dominates the ball and has it in his hands most of the time. With Harden, Lin has become an off ball spot up shooter, which is one of his most glaring flaws (along with going left). But I doubt someone who just signed a $24 million contract will be moved to the bench during December. Fingers still crossed that Lin will get it eventually.
The problem with that theory is Harden play like 40+ minutes a game...so you want Lin to almost never play? Won't solve anything.
