When I read that JLin wasn't going to play anymore Professional Basketball (D league or overseas) if he hadn't gotten picked up in NY I knew He wasn't a player I really wanted. He doesn't have the Hunger.

I sorta see your point actually. I definitely agree that "hunger" is key in this league or any sports league. Usually guys from middle-class backgrounds don't have that hunger. D-Rose played ball to keep himself off the streets and to pour all his anger into the game when the world gave him ****ty cards in life.

Not saying I'm sure Lin doesn't have that hunger. But I could see that being a possibility and affecting his game negatively.

For most of these guys, it's he has to succeed and pull their entire extended families/friends out of poverty. Lin could quit and join an investment firm tmrw. The stakes are different.

You are obviously out there to use the performance of a player to insult the whole Asian Americans community. You were born and bred a crappy human being. I blame it on your mother.

Only when Lin does poorly. When he was playing well (like the game against Utah) he was no where to be found.

How come you weren't noticing this a few games back when Lin was doing well? Of course his fans don't want to come here and see him getting bashed by trolls.

So likewise, when Lin is doing well, you'll notice less and less LoHs with each passing day.

How many professional players IN ANY SPORT do you think would say they wouldn't want to play their sport professionally anymore if they didn't make it after less than 2 years of mediocrity; especially after thinking/knowing they are better than some of the people around them?

After just 1.5 years of sitting on the bench, J Lin was thinking of calling it quits fresh off of demolishing Wall in the D league. He knew he could hang with the elite, yet he was going to do something with his finance(?) degree instead. It leaves me to wonder about his competitiveness.

when Lin is playing well, we don't notice it because the coaches yank him out. then he gets cold and comes in playing poorly. that's when they yank him out again so that they can run some plays for Douglasanity.

Also a very confusing statement from someone who clawed his way to the NBA despite getting no scholarship offers and being un-drafted. You've finally broken through to the highest echelon of your chosen sport after not giving up and you want to give it up after just 2 years?

This is what you wrote "Plus, hasn't Yao already put to bed the notion that Asian's can't ball?"

Maybe you need some grammar lessons.

not just him , Asik as well , bad decision, the Douglas line up works in 2nd quarter and team come back from 15 points deficit. our coach decide to stick with it the whole 4th quarter even though everything( defense and offense) was falling apart , and of course , we lost.
