Well, he took a potential game winning 3. So which is it?

the correct way to use Lin is to bring him off the bench....Not pay him 8 mil a year to start. But that's already done so I guess we should get used to this for two more years until he let him walk

Taking a game tying 3 doesn't change the fact he was playing scared most of the game. The Heats left him so wide open that he had no choice to shoot it.

Yeah this is the million dollar question. Is it him that is deferring or is it the coaching staff that is telling him to do this? I am not so sure.

As McHale said, he has the ball!

If you actually watch, Lin's the one who just passes it to Harden, runs to the opposite side of the court and camp out. He doesn't even finish on breaks!

Why did you make the thread?

You dont know what you talking about, You are the one who kept saying Morey got rid of 2 of our pgs for Lin when it was totally not true.

    Get your facts right.

Pretty obvious he wanted nothing to do with the ball.

Didn't take to time to read through this whole thread. My observation of Lin tonight was that the moment/game was too big for him at times. I don't think Lin sucks or is a joke. I feel Lin will be a solid player over time but the star expectations were too premature.

That's great, but if you understood that the Rockets offense is free flowing (we don't run that many plays and we let the players play) then you would understand my gripe. Lin should use his judgement and say no, we have to go with something else because it's not working. I did see Harden force Lin to pass him the ball one time by camping out near the half court line in the fourth. Maybe that play was called for Harden, but the ones afterwards were not.

When you have a submissive PG you will lose games. The opposite (Westbrook) can be bad too, but not so much when he's that good.

And thats exactly what he was told to do. Otherwise he wouldve been benched for following orders.

He has the ball in his hands at the top of the key, but instead of being aggressive he passes the ball back to Harden (like all the Rockets players do) and stand around watching, making himself a spot up shooter.
