WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? This guy is a guy we dumped our two great PGs and paying 25 for. I'm done talking to you. I'm not gonna call you any names but - whatever you think I was gonna call you - imagine I said it.
Good job. At least someone here understands that Lin can't just walk right into Houston and start playing his minds out. Seriously, this is basically his 2nd year given the fact that he never played in his first year and almost 30 games last year. The kid is still young, its not even 10 games yet, the coaching staff are still trying to figure out Lin and Harden and most of you guys are expecting Lin to put up Nash like numbers or something. Anyway fun fact: Lin, during the Rookie combine, was the fastest player sprinting the courts in his draft class. Faster than other lottery picks like Wall and Eric Bledsoe.
We didn't dump our two PGs. Morey lowballed then and signed Lin out of desperation. You want someone to blame? Blame Morey. Is it Lin's fault that he didn't turn down the contract? "Sorry I'm not worth that much." Knee-jerk to the highest extreme.
Dragic again put up 19 points and 7 assists against the Nuggets. Maybe with this specific team Dragic would actually have been a better option alongside Harden since he shoots the ball much better. It's still very early though. Let's wait some more time. I'll agree though that he has been disappointing so far. Especially his scoring. He is playing like a D-league point guard in regards to that. He is quick and can beat his man off the dribble but rarely drives into the lane anymore. Content to sit on the side and just shoot spot up threes. I think he will eventually pick it up. I agree though that if it keeps going on like this it will be a major embarrassment for the organizations since they let go of two better players. He is also yet to have a game where he shoots more than 50%. If Chandler Parsons is starting to outplay you on offense it isn't really good.
We paying him 25 yes, but no we did not dump 2 great PGs for him. Get your facts straight, Lowry was traded for a pick. We didn't sign Gogi because he wanted that player option. After that, we signed Lin.
u r free to blame anybody, but don't twist facts. why did your PGs leave? if you don't know, go to that famous bus
Missing a shot is okay.... But how do you airball that 3....and it wasn't even close. Literally 2 feet of air between the rim and the ball.
Dragic tonight 21 pts 7 assts in a win against the nuggets Lin signing was a les money "ball" move, not a moreyball move
I understand that, but back up PG's should not be getting 24 mil over 3 years. You want to get value when you pay someone that much. I doubt Darren Collison who is just as good (I think he's better than Lin) get even close to that in this upcoming offseason. Lin being in New York, in D'antoni's system, and being Asian from harvard (good story) helped him get this deal. Cant blame him that he took it. We can only blame ourselves
but, but, but coach sampson made him miss it with his bad coaching. you know the excuses are not short these days
Yikes overreaction. Anyway the air ball was ugly. But once again they are playing him off the ball which he is TERRIBLE at. They did that in GSW and he sucked at it for a REASON. He needs the ball in his hands to be effective it bothers me that they have him playing off the ball so much. It is incredibly messed up. He isn't a spot up shooter he is terrible at that so why are we forcing him to become something he is bad at?
Darren Collison in my opinion is the black Jeremy Lin. Put up monster numbers unexpectedly in NO and then flamed out into obscurity in Indiana.
The team is not using him the right way. He's not jump shooter. The team should let him attack basket more and go to the hoop!
