He was awful tonight. Love Lin, but gotta call it like it is. Douglas deserved to be in at the end of the game, and he proved it. Lin has to work through his funk. I know he's not 100%, but that might mean more time for Douglas until Lin can find his confidence and get back the chip on his shoulder. Nate Robinson was clowning Lin. He needs to take that personally. Great win for Houston. Very happy with their play tonight.
Bench Lin, light a fire under his ass that way. Turn him into a 6 man and let him re-earn the starting spot
the fact that people are even seriously entertaining the thought of douglas starting over lin shows how bad lin is playing.
Lin had a good first qtr but its all down hill from the point on. He needs to stop surroundering to that space daddy and actually have faith in himself.
The fact that people use double standards against Lin is hilarious, 1 ok game Douglas should be starting, 25 good games was a small sample. Go figure.
For sure. But IMO Lin is not cutting it as staring pg at the moment why not give Douglas a shot. Rockets have nothing to loose.
Comically, Eremy was the only starter with a negative impact on the game according to the +/- stats. Footnote: +/- stats can be misleading, especially in Mr. Lin's case because it is obvious that he is a future all-star with a more promising career than Dragic or Lowry. Just look at his advanced stats, it's obvious!
What's funny is we went from the BEST PG Starter/Backup duo in the league to the WORST PG Starter/Backup duo in the league.
Didn't see the game tonight but saw the numbers. While Lin's shooting percentage this year has been disappointing, he has been great at facilitating the offense when running the pont. Looking at the stats tonight he shot badly and didn't have many assists. Again, I didn't watch the game but that is not good. Someone like Rick Rubio last year shot bad in almost every game but his playmaking and assists were phenomenal. While I'm not saying Lin is at that level of playmaking I was thinking even if he shoots bad at least he's doing a good job of running the offense when give the chance. Looking at the numbers tonight, is it safe to assume he didn't do that well either?
