You won't last long here kid, if you think the threads I posted were acceptable. This is not a place for LOFs or xOFs. Its a Rockets forum. There won't be a harmony between them. Stupidity and blind homerism towards a player to the point where you attack another as seen in the post I quoted won't be tolerated. You can be a Lin fan or a Harden fan, or a Douglas fan, but not over the team. There will be hate for LOFs or any other xOFs, because this isn't the forum for them. Its a team forum. A perfect example of a troll, indeed.
I pretty sure this person is trolling but you old timer should stop calling every new fan LOF just because they disagree witb you. There are plenty of negative threads about Lin started by old posters.
The problem is Lin's conditioning--- not playing ball for a couple of months while rehab his knee is a killer to his game. Lin looked tentative, sometimes passive on the court. I can understand that he's trying to defer to Harden, but you can't argue he looked different from what he used to be physically. It's gonna take him more than 3 games to get used to NBA speed again.
Yeah I noticed this too. There were times where he deferred way to much. It is a work in progress the relationship between the two. They will have to figure out how to balance each other out. They are both unselfish & have such a high BBIQ that I am not to worried about it.
too be fair they both made mistakes the last 2 possessions...... Lin with a dumb alley oop pass... instead of driving it in... especially after getting an and 1 the play before and Harden wasting time to take a contested 3 pointer.. instead of driving it in for a higher % shot
That's what the coaching staff and video coordinators are for and Lin is known for watching a lot of game tape so I wouldn't worry about.
