On his training recently: BJ News: We all like to know your summer arrangments? Lin: Basically training 6 days a week recently. Strength and skill training in the morning, strength training about an hour, skill training 1 and half hours; some shooting training in the afternoon. If situation allowed, also do some scrimmages. BJ News: How do you feel about your recent trainings? Lin: Physically I am losing weight but at the same time increasing the strength of my thights/legs so as to reduce the pressure on my knees and maintain healthy. I am trying to improve my shooting, passing, penetrating, left-hand dribbling and penetrating, and cut down the turnover in transition. These are areas I definitely need to improve. I know very well my game need to be better. I need to handle the ball better. I need to be more focus on the court, not to expose the ball to give the opponent a steal, and at the same time not to pass the ball carelessly. pardon my English.
Thanks a lot. And your english was perfect. I was wondering why he was trying to loose weight but I see where he is coming from in terms of decreasing the pressure on his knees. And he is pretty much working on every weakness that people like to repeat about him so hopefully he can apply the drills to game situations. What did he say in regards to his new contract?
In the interview, Lin also said before his success, his parents and close friends have advised him to leave the NBA. Even coaches, though recognised his abilities, also advised hime to give up. They thought he was pretty good but not suitable for NBA and advised him to play in other leagues. But he persevered and gave himself one more chance. He said the world is fair, the next time you think you're going to give up is precisely the beginning of your success.
You're welcome. Contract wise, pretty much what we've heard before. The interviewer asked about criticisms from New York. He said he only got 1 offer and couldn't really choose which team to play for. As for doubters who think he isn't worth the contract. He said those comments will be his motivations to prove himself and to develop his potential.
Which is is Lin? He doesn't stand out as much visually when there aren't all these black guys around.
lol..you mean all these "tall" guys around. Lin has developed a habit of cutting the sleeves off his tees. The other one is his little brother Joseph.
Honestly I think it was just a promo vid for the company that makes the arm sleeve and knee sleeve Jlin was wearing in it... judging by the other vids in the channel The camp went over 4 days, so that's why there are only bits and pieces of it here is another - does a little dunk at the end <iframe width="853" height="480" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Fp5BqnN22BY?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
More game action - good quality <iframe width="853" height="480" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/MRsbninoOlE?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
It's good to see that he is getting some of his lift back again. It looks like he is getting close to 100%.
I guess everyone can put to rest this fear that Morey will sign someone that is going to get the rockets back into mediocrity. Likely the young guys will battle and fight for the playoffs. If they make it that means that the future is insanely bright. If they don't there is a draft pick.
Another real dunk in the game. the law:http://www.tjhsst.edu/~jleaf/tec/html/10/potent.htm P=mgh g=9.81(m/s2) m=200 lb (91 kg) h=35(inch, minimum) So his previous P = 68670 If his m down to 98% and P up to 105%. His minimum conservatively estimated vertical will be 35 × 1.05 ÷ 0.98 = 37.5 (inch):grin::grin:
