The league is still using a photo of Lin looking like a teenager. After last year's off-season training he weighed 212. I think he recently said he weighs 205. Wonder what his target weight is?
Even knowing his actual weight doesn't indicate how the bulk and strength is distributed. Lin's increased bulk and upper body strength last year translated into being able to absorb more contact for many "and-1's." But I noticed from last season that Lin does not use his arm strength to create space for himself. Compare this, for example, to Kobe who regularly uses his off-ball arm and elbow to push off of defenders---at various degrees of subtlety; sometimes it's just blatant---for posting up and penetration. I noticed last season that instead of using his off-ball arm to create space for himself, Lin mostly used his arms to protect the ball from aggressive reach-ins (a good number of which resulted in turnovers instead of getting the foul call). Sometimes Lin cradled the ball with both arms like a running back after getting into the lane.
Jlin and David lee participated in a pick-up game in Taipei. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/XWUi3r3gNu0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWUi3r3gNu0&feature=youtu.be

The udn.com said Lin had a dunk then his brother Joshua threw an alley-oop pass to Jeremy Lin in this game. I know he is an great alley-oop passer but never seen an alley-oop dunk from him.
I see him bringing the ball up with his left hand in the pickup games Lin with the quick hands Big height advanatge though ... and that's the David Lee I expected from his dunks in highschool
I don't think the issue is that he can't bounce the ball with his left. It's that he needs to improve his decision making going left & finishing with his left hand. Every player has a dominant hand & he is very hard to force left, he doesn't cooperate. & if you look at Lin's numbers using the pnr he goes to his left more than his right. But he still should be better. I noticed that he added the behind the back pass, never seen that before. He isn't a flashy passer he just makes the smart pass. And he is quick as hell, you see it clearly in the pick up game he has an insane first step. & ye he has mad quick hands, he is up there in terms of steal per game.
