Lin looked decent against the Lakers. I hope he sticks in the nba - he's the type of smart competitive player you like to watch....he looked pretty small(definitely has the rookie physique) against nearly everyone else out there though and he doesn't appear to have the elite speed or athleticism that keeps other tweeners in the league(Barrea, Brooks, etc).
How can Jeremy Lin not be the happiest player in the NBA? Financially, this kid is secure. The guy has a degree in HARVARD, and he signed a 3 year contract with Nike (or was it adidas?). Even if they waive Jeremy Lin (and I doubt teams will, just for the financial benefits of having him), they guy could easily move on to a high paying job. Unlike most NBA players these days, Jeremy Lin has his life sorted out. The guy is the perfect role model for any young NBA fans.
Wouldn't you be happy to be rookie getting into your very first NBA game? Hadn't heard about this guy but am glad to see an Asian-American in the NBA. That said the happiest I have seen an NBA player was Yao Ming finally getting out of the first round.
