I can't imagine if that if they put him in and it's not working they would keep it up for too long.

Thanks Lin for all the help over the season? Thanks for toughing it out and fighting to get back into the attack? What the blazes is wrong with some of you people?!

McHale made a big point about not disrupting the flow of the series, of being very cautious. Clearly he isn't going to start Lin and watch him go 1 of 8 and turn it over. He's going to use him sparingly, when the starters need a rest, and see what happens. If Lin can bring a bit of a spark, he may see a few more minutes. If he's ineffective, he'll sit right back down on the bench and the starter will return with short rest.

Do some of you "true Rockets fans" even understand what it means to cheer for your team? Do you even know who your team is? Game 6 baby! No one expected us to get this far against OKC. Spend your energy cheering your team and booing the opposition and stop creating imaginary scenarios you can complain about.

If Jeremy really care about this team, he should ask the coach to sit on the bench and not play, because the combination of Brooks and beverley has been working really well.

Exactly. Unless Lin is killing it out there I doubt McHale leaves him in long enough to "lose us the game."

Our biggest advantage is that OKC can't keep up with our guards now. Having another guard who is fast as hell is a good thing.

Hoping you guys eat some serious crow after this game, just like what you guys said about Harden after game 4.

Seriously, we are adding a player here, not subtracting a player, like OKC.

If Lin was able to score 26 as a starter on westbrooke during regular season, he should be fine tonight from bench.

When Lin scored 38 on Lakers, Fisher was the one defending him, and ended on highlights a few times.

Lots of fans have wondered whether it's better for the team that Lin comes off the bench. Well, we get an opportunity tonight to explore this.

Delfino is banged up, and we have another game in 2 nights. So, healthy backups are always needed.

It's time for Lin to do some damage!

    I'm happy for lin!!!
But, sigh lin can't win here.

Rox win + lin = rox maintained their momentum regardless of lin.
Rox win + no lin = rox r a superior team with bev/ab than with lin.
    Rox loss + lin = lin's fault.
Rox loss + no lin = lin should stop crying bout a bruised shoulder and play.

Only way lin comes out on top is if Rox wins, and he is an undeniable part of the win.

Well either way im hopin for a rox upset tonite, wins go a long way in making everyone happy <3

Many comments in this thread are a nice, little microcosm of how ****ty threads have become here.

Just like when OKC hacked Asik, and got good results initially? That's their mindset, and we all know the end result.

Not saying Lin should get heavy minutes, but good streches are not going on forever and we should be ready for OKC's counter moves. One more weapon at disposal.

I'd rather they commit zero, but maybe I'm just being optimistic.

To them, Houston is a street in NYC.
To us, it's Clutch City, a city was born when people underestimated the heart of a champion

It's true for some of the fans, but overtime nobody would care about it as long as Lin and the team can grow from the experience.

AB was shooting 33.3% overall and 12.5% from 3pt in the playoffs. Should OKC let him open?
