What is rafer Alston treatment? If I remember, everyone hated Rafer lol. And he didnt even have a fan base.
Most of the Rockets fan base criticized Rafer for a lot of the same things they criticize Lin for for. Inconsistancy and poor decision making. Both were capable of playing solid defense and getting to the basket. Of course Rafer didn't have much a following. That's kind of the point.
Show me a thread with a heading that blame another player by LOF? All i see is LOH instigating and baiting. I haven't been here long enough but any thread I've seen has been initiated with hate. Once the hate thread is started, everything goes....which is extremely sad on both front.
Just because several Lin fans are delusional doesn't mean there should be a herd hurling hate, over-generalizing, labeling and doing mob/group think. There are so many Lin fans, not everyone is a good poster, not everyone is a bad poster, stop it.

There's a difference between "hate" and "criticism". If you're speaking of racist posts, then I completely agree. If you're speaking of people criticisizing Lin for trying to play hurt (we've had this conversation already) I also agree. If you're speaking of people saying Lin was wildly inconsistant or saying that our chamistry in the Playoffs was not good while he was on the court, then I disagree. Those are valid points. Let me give you an example: When Magic said beverley was a better fit for the Rockets and better for chemistry a bunch of LOFs took negatively to that saying he "didn't know what he was talking about", "Lakers homer" ,ect... However, earlier in the season when he said Lin had Parker upside they all latched onto the comment and use it to this day. It's laughable. I also rarely see LOFs criticize their own. Where are you when people are comparing him to John Stockton? That's my problem.

Fine just hating Lin fans then. Not after the debacle of course, but I am saying there are always homers and they aren't getting this much hate; no group has ever formed to create so much havoc. Comparing and saying he is the next xxx is different. The fact that there are certainly similarities or this player reminds one of another doesn't mean he will end up having the same career. Harden doesn't have MJ's athletic ability, there is nothing he can do about it. I am not saying it will happen but it is not completely out of the question that Lin could turn into Stockton.
