He has enough money to afford to even play for free if he wants to, just to get another shot at the NBA. Though with his age and injuries the probability for making the NBA again is low.

Yup who wants a 32 year old mediocre pg with a inconsistent shot. Teams rather sign someone that may be less skilled at this point but younger so they can still develop. That's why the warriors passed on him and he still doesn't have a contract.

....with a terrible bball IQ, ball handling, one that brings a lot of baggage to the team, and was complaining about physical play in the Chinese league of all places"

Please type in full and complete sentences.

    Thank you

HS sophomore starting at PG for a varsity team vying for a conference championship is still pretty good.

So if a G-league hero and 3rd string NBA call up guard like Jimmer can score 70 points TWICE in China, why should a guy who quit on a CBA team get a shot at the NBA again?

Gaudy stats in the CBA don't mean anything regarding readiness for the NBA. Even Lin's agent knows that...

But all the CBA fans I know think Lin is terrific and wish he went back to the Ducks.

Most Asian people understand the importance of getting into the best place. Playing in the NBA is like going to Harvard. So CBA fans admire his desire to play in NBA instead of settling for CBA. It's like trying to get into Harvard instead of settling for Rutgers University.
