The first two are Nets vs. Rockets, so they absolutely belong on Clutchfans. The third was posted in response to someone commenting on my seats.
Here's the thing dude, if real fans want to talk about it, let them. But this LOF keeps replying and throws off the organic discussion between real Rockets fans I've watched all the LOF go down in flames, I want to see the last one burn
Ah, gotcha. I get box/Suite seats but I actually prefer to sit on the court. Then again, I don't do season tickets. I'd rather pay for the games than I want to see. I'm sitting courtside for Detroit on Saturday. That's probably a game most don't care about but I grew up a Detroit fan (my entire family is from there) however I will obviously root for Houston They increase prices every year. Basically every team does it so that comes with the territory
Box seats can be fun with the food and drink, but yeah, I also prefer to be closer to the court...and I also prefer being in the crowd, particularly in an exciting game. I don't do season tickets...just a multi-game package...since I live in NJ and getting to Brooklyn is kind of a pain. But got invited to the company box for this game by the guy who sells me my ticket package as he's trying to get me to move up to a season package.... And yes, ticket prices go up every year...but it was shocking how much they went up this year. My seats from last year went up nearly 2x this season.
Btw - here's some good coverage of Lin in China. The first article about his injuries and some of the physical contact he's been taking in the CBA from aggressive defenses is from last month, but there are more recent articles too: https://www.scmp.com/sport/basketball/article/3037024/blood-sweat-and-tears-jeremy-lin-china
Agreed. Thete are perks and they are great for clients who are just there to casually enjoy the game. For fans they don't really work. I get both angles. You should see the Texans and Astros increase. Thing is that they know someone is going to pay it. We do. I paid $2500 for my courtside seats on Saturday. I have a really good ticket company that can probably work with you. They have been my friends since high school if you want me to pm you. They get tickets to anything and only cater to high end clients
Typical lip service when someone gets kicked out or dumped. Leave it to LOFs to take it literally. Imagine players truly believing that a journeyman scrub is the best leader they can have.
Appreciate the offer, but I think I'm ok. One of the guys I get my tickets with actually went to high school with Joe Tsai, so I think next year we might be getting better seats... :-D
His real tenure in Atlanta was leaving mid season for the Toronto and then without Lin, Trae Young thrived What's he going to show Trae how to do? shoot? no pass the ball to the correct teammate? no foul someone when time is expiring? no clock management at the end of the game? no stay healthy for a full season? no Lin WANTED TO LEAVE, so they granted him that wish half a season mentoring.. yeah
We should shut this thread down cause China isn’t part of the nba @Reeko @CometsWin They do have Chinese sites for Beijing but I have a feeling they don’t like trolls either
Patrick Beverley is light years better than Lin now and when Morey replaced Lin as a starter Same with Clarkson , Van Vleet etc It’s truly hard to believe any carbon based organism would think otherwise
lol Right on. There is absolutely nothing Airemy is better at than even a young Trae. Trae is a better baller in every facet of the game but most importantly he is not a mental midget like Airemy. What is there to learn from someone who has nothing to teach you? Like I said, lip service given to a scrub that everyone knew would be out of the league soon. Maybe Airemy gave Trae some pointers on how not to get kicked out of the league before he left Atlanta? lol
Pat Beverley is in a whole different league when compared to Airemy. Like literally. One plays in the NBA, the other in a scrub league. Pat knows his role and plays to that. He is mentally tough and is a difference maker. Which is why teams were after him and he got a new contract the same off-season that Airemy got humiliated in and got kicked out of the league. Likewise, it is an embarrassment to van Vleet to compare Airemy to him. He played a big role in Raptors winning a ring while Airemy sat on the bench and looked on from the sidelines. Nurse wouldn't let Airemy sniff any meaningful minutes even when Vleet struggled because he knew what a mental midget Lin is and how he could hurt the team. Bottom line: Airemy was not a good player and teams "gave up on him".
