Dang, the Lin hate remains despite him being gone. I suppose next season if we fail we'll blame Lin for making us give up two picks to trade him away.

How many posts lament the passing of Lowry and Dragic? Can't have it both ways.

He is gone, just let it go. Your points regarding Lin are well made and everyone already read it more than million times. By going so extreme on this subject matter with tinman, who is the Top 2 troll here on CF, you are really giving yourself a bad name down the road. Everyone should avoid associating themself with tinman and you should know something is not right when tinman is on your side and it so extreme.

It is sort of sad when one's self worth is determined by their join date on a message board.

The 99er thing was funny and cool once. But to bring it up multiple times a day just to justify one's self worth in some silly appreciation thread about a player who has already packed his bags and moved on is rather telling.

It's the ones who incessantly brag and attach their whole identity to 1999 that sort of ruin it for the rest. My image of a 99er? Some middle-aged guy with no wife/gf/kids whose best moments in a day involve winning Internet points against teenagers who like a certain basketball player. LOFS and Lin have moved on with lives.

THIS. Most of them are gone (even before the trade) so why do haters keep bringing them up again? Get a life and stop checking the Lakers forum. I popped into the Lakers section on Realgm to see what their thoughts were re the trade and I see a bunch of posts from Rockets fans "warning" Lakers fan when Lin fans didn't even say anything. It's the haters who can't let go and makes Rockets fans look bitter even though parting with Lin was a good thing.

I used to love Lin in New York.
Then he went to Houston and turned the ball over more than anyone I've ever seen.
Now that he's going to LAL maybe I can cheer for him again.

Same applies to any player, its nice to cheer them on and ignore their mistakes if they are hurting some other team's chances of winning. When its your own team, the mistakes are glaring and you start to get annoyed.

Nice guy, decent player, but too many mistakes for my liking. Will follow him in LA. Hope he does well, except when he plays the Rockets.
Pretty much did the same for T-Mac when he left. Hated him in his twilight years here because he was an *******, quitter, and basically sucked. But followed his performances in NYK, ATL, and Detroit.
I'm not teaming up with tinman. Our opinions are our own.

Oh, so you are one of those self hating scumbags. Didn't know someone would be so proud of telling everyone that.

Lin is already gone, chill and enjoy your Harden unsuccessful flopping in Playoffs or Howard not getting the ball when the Rockets need him. In the mean time, no more sexy Parsons for your fanfic writing at nights too when Morey decides not matching his contract tonight.

So not supporting Lin because he is Asian, makes me a self hating scumbag?
I don't like him as a player. He is a detriment to the team. Funny how hating Lin is racist (BECAUSE WE OBVIOUSLY HATE HIM BECAUSE HE'S ASIAN ), yet supporting him JUST BECAUSE HE IS ASIAN is not frowned upon equally.

Tired of all the Lin fans that pretty much live their lives through Lin and pull out the race card anytime anyone criticizes him.

    Good to hear that.

Now it's tinman's turn. I know he went and see Lin's movie and met him personally. Not even LOFs had that privilege. ;)

    Your passion is real.

It scares the other fans. They are scared of passion and truth

Totally agree. The way some of those guys behave makes me wonder how much they have going on in their daily lives. Being so invested on Internet arguments just isn't healthy.

Not only that. They give the rest of us Houston fans a bad name. And honestly, if you see someone behaving like that out in public, would you want to be associated with them? Would you want people to think they represent the fan base?

I won't miss his inconsistency and i didn't like his playoff career with the rockets.

But yeah I wish him well and hope he's happy in his home state

I won't root for the lakers

You are dissing everybody who is not a 99er. Expected more maturity from a "99er". You are acting more like a pimply teen in front of the computer trolling every chance you get.
