    They won't really care what he wants... He is a RFA... He has to go to play for NY Knicks if they match. He'll have no say in the decision.

    The Knicks haven't received Lin's offer sheet yet. So that would make it impossible for them to match it.

    This is another ramification of the Howard trade offers.

    Carlos Beltran is still a hell of a baseball player. Besides being voted in as a starter in ASG and currently leads the NL in RBIs. He is a 7-time all-star, 3-time gold glove outfielder, career .284 hitter with a .362 OBP% and 61 WAR in 15 seasons. I think booing him is fun too, but let's at least be honest.

    I believe that the Knicks will match the offer. They are just bull****ting with all this non-sense since they want to tie up our cap for 3-days. They also want to make us believe they are not going to match to give us some kind of hope. They are completely trolling the Rockets and I am fine with that, we trolled them as well with the offer.

    It is "highly doubtful" NY will match Jeremy Lin's offer sheet with HOU, source tells Y! Sports. NY likely to wait 3 days before declining.

    I honestly won't believe any of these 'sources' until it's officially confirmed. Mostly because I read something that in retaliation for the whole Lin-Rockets drama (and the Rockets modifying the offer at the last minute), they are going to send a lot of mixed signals over the next 3 days.
