I don't know if the odds are even THAT low. How does this offer to the Magic sound?

    Terrence Jones
    Royce White
One of the guys from the Knicks trade
    Toronto pick
    Dallas pick
    2015 protected Houston 1st rounder

    for

    Howard
    Richardson
    Davis

I don't think those guys from the Knick trade can't be traded yet.

Didn't Toronto do a similar backloaded contract to pry Landry Fields from the Knicks? It seems Morey is getting the flack because his target is Lin and the stakes are higher.

Anyway, I can see why Houston is doing what they're doing, but an off-season of Lin and Asik still doesn't do much for me.

do you think they will match. lol, I went on some knicks forums and a lot of them think their gm is a genius and is trying to screw morey by signing felton and leaving us without a point guard once they match lin.

Count me in for that...I'd be ecstatic.

They can take KM too. ;)

    Lin/Douglas
    Lamb/Richardson
    Parsons/Morris
    DMo/Davis/Patterson
    Howard/Asik

Yup, the Landry Fields deal was initially because Toronto wanted to block the Knicks from having the ability to offer Fields in a sign and trade for Steve Nash.

They would have to take Kevin Martin in order to match the salaries, or at least get close.

Quick question to all those who voted No to the Poll in regards to not matching Lin's deal, I assume by voting NO you don't want the KNICKS to match Lin's deal....

So that means by voting NO, you want Lin on the Rockets?

Lin's going to be on the All-star ballot if he's on the Rockets. He has a good chance of getting voted in, BUT, I still think Chris Paul and Steve Nash are going to get tons of fan votes especially with Nash now on the Lakers.

The question reads do you want the contract matched? No would mean we want Lin.

Thanks for clearing that up. I peeked on RealGM and someone was arguing that based on this poll;s percentage, fans on here don't want Lin on the Rockets
